Elena came down the stairs, all dressed up to oversee what was going on in the new building she's gonna be starting her restaurant. It was perfect. She loved the area, the building, but then why wouldn't it be when it was Alex himself that found it?

She was inwardly happy he was making do with his promises. Remembering then, when it felt like he could hit his chest and swore she was never gonna do anything relating to work. He didn't want her to be involved in things, or better yet, meet people, especially men. He just wanted her home.

She begged and begged, but his words is always final. Nothing can change his mind when it's already stamped.

But now, this time he doesn't have any choice but to adhere to her want. It made her happy to get what she wanted.

Although, one thing still bothered her. It was what Alex told her about his mom not being her biological mom. He said, he just felt the need to find out due to her mom's behavior toward her and he got the truth.

It baffled her. It g
