"WHAT!!"

Elena walked out of the closet with bulging eyes and turned, giving Alex an icy stare. "What the hell are you insinuating, Alex? Are you saying...are you saying..." She kept trailing off cause it felt hard to spit out and her anger was already over the place.

"We're still married," Alex answered her deciding to spill the beans. It was high time he let everything out.

Elena's jaw gaped as he confirmed it. She shook her head still finding it unbelievable. "No, no, Alex, why? You were so hellbent on making do with me, so WHY?" She yelled at him. "I know it wasn't accidental."

Alex nodded. "I planned on coming back to you anyway. Even if it were to be true, I still couldn't let go of you and I wasn't sure I'll be angry at you for too long."

She scowled at his explanation. "And what if I had gotten married to someone else?" She questioned him with raised eyebrows. "Ah?" She added.

"I would have been informed. That won't happen without me knowing." He confessed arrogantly.
