She slowly opened her eyes and winced as her head hurt a little.
“You’re awake. How do you feel?” Andrew asked looking at her.
“My head hurts.” She told him slowly.
She looked around and saw that she was in a hospital room.
“Let me call the doctor.” Andrew said and went out.
Soon he came in with a doctor and a nurse. The doctor checked her pulse etc.
“How do you feel Miss Rose?” the doctor asked.
“My head hurts a little.” She told him.
“Give her a painkiller.” The doctor told the nurse.
The nurse nodded and went to get the painkillers.
“Well, there isn’t anything serious. You just have a small concussion on your head. You’ll be fine if you rest for a few days. If you feel anything else tell me about it.” the doctor told her.
She nodded.

The next two days neither of them called each other. They both felt uneasy and didn’t know what to say if they even called. It was the third day when Andrew finally found an excuse for calling her. Brandon gave him a speeding ticket. “I forgot to give it to you.” He told him. Clara's eyes closed tightly, involuntary at the loud bang. She waited for the bullet to take her life but it never came. She opened her eyes to see what had happened and the next thing surprised her.
