The next two days neither of them called each other. They both felt uneasy and didn’t know what to say if they even called.
It was the third day when Andrew finally found an excuse for calling her.
Brandon gave him a speeding ticket.
“I forgot to give it to you.” He told him.
He looked and the ticket confused.
“But I was in court that day.” He told him.
“Miss Rose drove it.”
Andrew nodded and waved his hand dismissing him.
He smiled cunningly and took a picture of it with his phone and sent it to her.
‘You got me a ticket.’ He texted her.
‘I speeded to save you, you ungrateful man.' She texted him back with an annoyed emoji.
Andrew smiled.
'Me? Ungrateful?'
She sent him a picture of her with the bandages around her head.
‘I got hurt because of you.’ She texted him.
He called her.
“You ran after danger yourself.” He told her as soon as she picked up.

The next morning Clara woke up and found herself in her bed nicely tugged in. She thought that Leo was the one who carried her to bed. Clara's eyes closed tightly, involuntary at the loud bang. She waited for the bullet to take her life but it never came. She opened her eyes to see what had happened and the next thing surprised her. He locked all the doors with the press of a button. He started the car and drove it in the backward direction as fast as he could. He was still fast asleep when his phone rang. He got up tiredly and answered his phone. There was a piece of paper stuck on his face. “Hello. This is Andrew Bloom speaking.” He answered in a sleepy tone, without looking at the caller ID. “Were you sleeping?” Clara asked. He looked at the caller ID with a frown and then answered her. “Yes. I was going to rest my eyes but I ended up falling asleep.” “If it was one of your employees I bet you would’ve given them an earful.” She said.
