Chapter 11: Betrayal

The beeping, pinging and ringing of alarms on monitoring devices inside create a cacophony of noise that always gives me goosebumps.

My mother is still in a deep state of unconsciousness, and only the life-supporting pieces of equipment keep her living, only a miracle could make her wake up.

"Ma, kung naririnig mo ako ngayon, please lumaban ka, please...Hindi ko kaya, iniisip ko pa nga lang ang pwedeng mangyari, hindi ko na kaya.
