Chapter 12: Heartbreaking News

I received a call from the hospital, right there and then, my heart froze, and a bullet of panic rises in my throat. Fear has walked through me and left me numb shaking, I tried not to breathe, but I knew it was impossible.

We rush to the hospital only to find out that my world collapsed in front of me.

"I'm sorry but your mother died a few minutes ago, we did CPR for nearly an hour, but never got a heartbeat back, we did everything that we could but after an hour of reviving, she didn't make it, I'm sorry," the Doctor announced with a heavy heart.
