IV

We arrived at Corrie's house pretty quickly. She honestly did not live far at all. As I got out of the car and glanced down the sidewalk, the memories of us walking to school popped up in my head. I miss those times of gossip and not caring about things. The carefree ways of our youth, before I was forced to grow up. " Are you coming daydreamer?" Corrie asked as she slammed the car door.

I quickly followed her, she opened the front door  to be  greeted by her mom. He mom helda tray with some  amazing lavender cookies that ingulfed the house with a pleasnt smell. Her mom stood at the foot of the stairs holding a tray and welcoming us in. My heart leaped with love, she was my other mother, that acted more like a mom than my real one did. Ever since Dad passed away mom started to drink, and I mean drink.

I never see her anymore ,if I do she is either drunk or hungover. Fresh-baked cookies were never a thing at my house, hell food wasn't even a thing. For the most part, I could go without, I didn't eat much at all, not sure why just never felt the need to. We grabbed a handful as we thanked her mom and walked up the stairs to Corrie's room. Her house was always decorated and welcoming. Whatever holiday we were in wether it was Valentine's or Halloween her mom went all out with decorations. It even smelled like the season we were in, with the aroma of cookies following us up.

" Go wash your face while I find something that will work for you," Corrie said as she walked into her massive closet. Corrie's bathroom was just as massive as the coloset, with dark blue tile that went from floor to ceiling and a huge jacuzzi tub. I was defintly envious. On her sink counter, she had all the latest makeup trends from TikToc or magazines. She was truly obsessed with her looks more than I was with mine. I glanced in the mirror at my pale self and turned the knob on. What have I gotten into?

Corrie  always want to do a makeover, and I always ran away from her, but not today. I dried my face and plopped on her bed. " Ok! I have this, or this, or maybe this?" She said as she held up three outfits on hangers for me to pick. " I think this one would be nice, but it may show some cleavage since your boobs are way bigger than mine," She said as she tossed me a deep blue long-sleeved sweater with a low-cut v-neck. My heart pounded as I started to freak out at the idea of showing my boobs.

I covered myself up as much as I could, but then I envisoned Ellis smiling at me. Bet he would like this sweater I thought as I held it up. He only meet me today, and he for sure would never know I had no fashion sense right?

 " Ok, I will try it ", I said as I quickly switched into the new sweater. I walked over to the tall mirror  on the wall by the closest and could not believe it my eyes.

I looked good, the sweater hung in just the right places accentuating the curves I would hide. My breast popped out of the v-neck since it was lower than I would like. They looked plump and very noticible. The dark blue of the fabric made my teal eyes shine a little brighter.

Corrie could not contain her smile. She quickly pulled my hair tie out unraveling my red curly hair, it slowly cascaded down over my shoulders.

Wow, I couldn't stop looking at myself, I looked older and more mature in the sweater. " No, you look hot! Hot Tamale," she said as if she was reading my mind. Once she finished getting  changed we grabbed our coats and jumped in my car.

We still had about an hour before the game started, so I knew I would end up working more than I wanted to at the concession stand. As soon as we got to school Corrie rushed towards the gym.  I slowly followed taking my time and looking at my surroundings. I noticed the basketball players were warming up on the court. And a few people were sitting on the bleachers.

Sean was there passing the ball to another one of the crew bullies, which gave me chills just seeing him. He glanced up as our eyes met which casued me to quickly face the ground. Chills ran up my back as it felt he was still wacthing me. 

I made my way to Corrie and I couldn't help but wonder what Ellis would think of my look. Was it too much, or was he into this kind of thing? " We are in luck, Ryan already did all the prep work!" Corrie loudly said as she hugged Ryan.

Ryan was a typical nerd and my only other friend. He was the type that played video games all night, but he wasn't bad to look at. He was tall and lanky with short light brown hair and amber eyes. His eyes glistened as Corrie embraced him again. Wouldn't that be something, Corrie and Ryan a couple?

Right before the game started we got busy selling popcorn and nachos. As time ticked on I wondered if Ellis was even coming since I still had not seen him. " I gotta use the restroom," I called out to Corrie as I headed out the door of the stand. She waved me off and continued to serve the crowd.

I decided to not use the bathroom that had a long ass line and headed over toward the girl's locker room. As I passed the gym and turned the corner I bumped into someone. " Sorry," I quickly said not even looking at who it was. " I bet you are", a voice I knew all too well said. It was Sean, great I thought as I looked up at him. " Well look at you, you can clean up nice huh?" He said as he stared down at me, his eyes moving up and down my body as if he was undressing me.

He quickly closed the distance between us.  Casuing me to freeze in place. My heart started to pound fast as my anxiety increased. There was no one else around and the noise from the gym was so loud I doubt anyone would hear me scream. He pushed me up against the wall with his body as he came closer. The hardness of the wall made me shiver even more. 

 He overtowered me in height and his basketball uniform asentuated his muscles. I could feel his heart pounding as his body was against mine pushing me harder into the wall.

His brown eyes looked evil as a hint of gold shined within them. His smirk intensified the feeling.

" L....leave me alone". I managed to stutter out as my body shuddered.

 " But why would I do that?" He asked as he slowly traced my cheek with his finger. " How could I ever leave you alone?" his words were husky and animalistic as he continued to trace his finger down my chin. I was angry but fear kept me paralyzed as his ruff, claused fingertips ran down my neck very slowly.

I dared to look him in the eye again as swirls of gold mezmorized me. 

His finger stopped at my collarbone and traced it back and forth before he lowered his face inches from my ear and whispered," You don't realize what you do, do you?" I felt every word as his warm spearmint breath hit my ear. I stopped breathing, I forgot how. I had a strange urge come over me. I wanted to kiss him, his neck, his lips I just wanted to taste him. I closed my eyes at the thought and my whole body tingled with anticipation of what was to come. 

He kept me paralyzed as his ruff, claused fingertips continued to run down, past my collar bone tracing my exposed skin down the v of the sweater. His fingertips traced the line my cleavage naturally made as he let out a soft moan in my ear. I wanted to push him and run but I also wanted more of his touch.  I couldn't move and I didn't understand why my need for him burned.

I opened my eyes to see his honeycomb eyes burning into me as they swirled gold flecks. " Fuck Em" he whispered with a growl that came from deep inside hime. My body betrayed me as a throb pulsated between my legs at the sound he made. His face came closer, his lips grazing mine before he pulled away slightly. His eyes were closed as he inhaled deeply. 

" Hey!" I heard a voice yell from the opposite side of the hallway. It made Sean jump back some and look towards the sound. My heart pounded and I couldn't manage to look, but in a matter of seconds Sean was gone and Ellis was in front of me. " Are you ok? What the hell was that about?" " I...I don't know," I replied still not able to move. I was afraid my legs would give from how shaken up I was.

" Did he hurt you?" Ellis asked with concern in his voice. I shook my head no.  I wasn't truly sure  what just happened. " Come on, I will buy you a soda," Ellis said as he held out his hand for me to take.
