As I chased him into the woods a feeling came over me. It was odd, as if I felt her, Emiry. I felt scared but knew damn well I was pissed. I shook my head trying to get the feeling out. The wolf was fast as he jumped and leaped through the trees. I managed to keep up with him as we moved through the forest. By now I knew we were in the national park by the way the trails started to appear in between trees.

He halted quickly as we both stood in a clearing sniffing the air. I shivered as a tingle rushed up through me. " She is here, I know it!" I snarled as we saw nothing. The clearing was massive as tall bare trees encircled us. But there was nothing, nothing but us. I stood there bewildered as if time had stopped. We would never find her, dread rushed through me with the thought. The wolf nudged me as a sign to follow him, which I did.
