The game had begun. Everyone seated in the pitchers and watching. We stood as a team facing our opponents and the referee in between us, his whistle and ball in his hands.

He looked at each team first, “Remember to follow the rules. Any foul and you'll be out without the chance of a substitute, play fair”

Then he blew the whistle and threw the ball up, the game had officially begun.

We began to try to get a touch down, it wasn't too hard if you asked me because only a few minutes in and each team had two touch downs on their sides.

Captain pulled us aside during the short regrouping, “Damon, I want you on the attack, get that fucking ball and pass it like we all know to"

He looked at each of us, eyes wide open and staring us down, "We can fucking do this. You know that. Let's fucking go” he gave us a pat and we ran back to the field.
