DAMON

“You’ve made your point. You can leave now,” I said, my voice steadier than I felt.

Clearing my throat, I tried to regain control, but the attempt was short-lived. My breath hitched as Luciano stepped closer.

He reached out, his fingers brushing the top button of my shirt before undoing it. Then the next and he smiled in satisfaction.

“What are you doing?” I asked, my voice faltering.

“You look better when you leave a few buttons loose,” He muttered with a smile and definitely a flirty and corny one at that. His fingertips trailed over the exposed skin, leaving a trail of goosebumps as I tried my best to stay still and not react.

“Stop pretending like you care about me,” I snapped, my words trembling despite my anger. I took a step back, desperate to create some distance between us. “Just leave.”

But he didn’t move. Instead, he squinted, studying me like I was a puzzle he had every intention of solving.

I turned away, biting the inside of my cheek as the corners of my eyes began to sting. I couldn’t let him see me break.

I am a hunter and my job, the only thing my parents have lived for, the only thing I get to live for was been a hunter. I was to kill him.

I was to kill….I trailed off even in my thoughts because the more I tried to do a reality check on that, the more it felt unreal.

“What’s going on?” He questioned in a low yet hoarse voice.

“Nothing. His voice ran through my head, though the cracks in my voice betrayed me.

“Tears running down your face don’t feel like othing.” My jaw tightened as I took in a deep breath not realizing until now that I had been holding my breath.

“You probably don’t want me here anyway,” I said, the words coming out sharper than I intended. “I’m a hunter. I kill your kind. You should hate me.”

He suddenly began chucking, the kind that sent a shiver down my spine. Practically everything he does sends shivers down my spine anyways. Before I could move, he stepped around to face me, forcing me to look at him.

With the tip of his finger, he tilted my chin up, his eyes locking onto mine.

“Hate you?” His lips curved into a wicked smirk. “Is that what you think, Damon?”

“What do you want from me, Luciano?” I whispered, my voice barely audible.

His smirk deepened, and for a moment, I thought he wouldn’t answer. “I could ask you the same question, but I already know the answer.”

He leaned in, his lips over mine, just barely brushing against them. “What do you want?” he whispered.

I stared at him, the weight of his gaze pulling every buried truth to the surface. My chest felt tight, my pulse deafening in my ears. And before I could stop myself, the words slipped out.

“I don't know.” I breathed.

That was all he needed.

In an instant, his hand gripped my jaw, firm but careful, and his lips crashed against mine again There was nothing gentle about this kiss—it was raw, consuming, a claim he’d been waiting to make.

His hands moved to my shirt, tugging it open with ease as I fumbled with his jacket, unable to think, unable to breathe. The world around us dissolved into nothing.

Luciano’s arms wrapped around me, pulling me flush against him, his strength undeniable as he guided me backward.

The edge of the bed caught me, and we tumbled down together, his lips never leaving mine, his presence overwhelming in every possible way.

The last coherent thought in my head was that I was utterly ruined—and I didn't care

“You’ve missed me, haven’t you?” Luciano murmured against my lips, his voice hoarse and dripping with sin.

I nodded, unable to do anything else. “Fuck you,” I whispered, my voice rasping with need as I surrendered completely.

“You should’ve reached out sooner,” he growled softly, his lips trailing down my neck like he was savoring every inch of me.

“I should’nt.” I admitted, the words tumbling out without thought. My mind was a haze, clouded by the intoxicating mix of his touch and his voice. I wasn’t even sure if I could remember what he’d said moments ago—nothing seemed to matter except him.

His hand slid lower, and when he touched my hard dick, I gasped, my body jolting as the full weight of how much I’d missed him came crashing down.

“Damon,” he murmured, his voice dark and low, a promise and a warning all in one.

“What the hell is going on in here?!”

The sharp voice pierced through the air like a knife, ripping me back to reality. I froze as Luciano and I broke apart, my head snapping toward the doorway.

I thought I had locked the fucking door!

There, standing rigid with expressions carved from pure horror, were my parents.

Mom’s hand trembled at her side, her face ashen as her wide eyes darted between me and Luciano. Dad’s jaw clenched, his fists curling as if he was already preparing to fight.

“Who—” Mom’s voice cracked before her breath hitched, her eyes narrowing. “Is that… Luciano Salvatore?”

“That should be me. Nice to meet you.” Luciano answered before I would say a word and then placed a kiss on my forehead before turning to face them.

“Ah, the legendary hunters.” He said, waving at them with a smile like this was some kind of reunion. “What an honor it is to meet you both at last.”

I felt his fingers curl around mine, and my stomach churned.

“Damon,” Dad growled, his voice a dangerous rumble. “Step away from him. Now.”

I made to stand up but Luciano tightened his grasp on me under the sheet while glaring at me with a murderous glint in his eyes.

“Step away? We're in the middle of having sex, ya think it would be pleasant to see your son's penis as he stands up to step away?” My mother gasped, her hand flying to her mouth, while Dad’s expression twisted into fury.

“You both have such bad timing, i didn't even get to finish.” He muttered like he was whining and even I stared at him in surprise, shock and everything in between.

I wanted to scream, to explain, to do something, but the weight of Luciano’s presence and the murderous intent in my father’s eyes rooted me to the spot.

“Let’s see how good the hunters are when the prey doesn’t want to be saved.” Luciano said with a smile on his face as my dad held out his saber.

I wasn’t sure if I’d survive the next few moments—but if there was one thing I did know, it was that Luciano had no intention of leaving quietly. It was all there in his looks, I'm done for

DamonI left his office after that. Don had come to give him some urgent information that had come. I used that opportunity to leave him. His words and actions hadn't left my head, it was still there. What he had told me. The date he wanted me to come on. I knew my answer. There wasn't enough time to say no but it was that and he knew that. I wouldn't be coming. I didn't want to come. He wouldn't string me back in. I fell on my bed as soon as I reached my room, taking a breath of relief. The tension that had been in my body when I was with him, naturally went away. He always made me nervous, this strange feeling in my bones and heart. The way he made everything in my body dysfunctional, I hated it. I began to pack my things so I could distract myself. He was on my mind constantly. Tomorrow we would be leaving and there was already little time left. It was late afternoon already, we would soon have lunch. After which I planned for a walk about and then after that it would be dinn

  • Bound By Fate, Burned By Love    Episode 96

DamonWhen I woke up, I felt an energy that was charged and familiar. I didn't need to see him to know that he had arrived. Luciano was back. It was confirmed when Juliet knocked on the door to say that breakfast would be earlier because the boss was here and I had only thirty minutes to get ready. Today was supposed to be the last day. After that, by morning we would be getting ready to be on our way. This mini vacation had been quite relaxing, I didn't anticipate going back. I took a shower before changing into my clothes for the day. Since it was warmer, I felt more comfortable to wear something that was light. I took my phone and headed out, going to the dining room. I met a few of my colleagues, especially Bethany, so we both walked together. “He came back fast. I wonder why he had to leave so suddenly" she speculated to me as we walked. I shrugged, not saying anything because the truth was deeper than any of them could imagine. When we arrived at the dining room, we took o

Luciano As soon as I left the house with Tristan, I asked him to go ahead while I took a detour. I didn't want to head straight there because whoever among us was playing this game was about to make a mistake. Instead, I went to where most of the hunters usually lay low. As I pulled into the driveway of the house I noticed its emptiness. Maybe they had left here, in anticipation of my arrival. I walked out of my car and towards the door, it was locked shut of course and the inside was dead silent. Without attempting to knock first, I broke the door down and walked inside. The sitting room was large, one that usually held in a lot of people I assumed. Inside, there was no sign of life. Everywhere was clean, so tidy like a soul didn't stay here. I listened for anything but silence met me. I went up the stairs where most of the main rooms were. With each door I opened I was met with emptiness. It seemed I had judged wrong and this house was empty. Making sure that upstairs was ind

  • Bound By Fate, Burned By Love    Episode 94

DamonWe had dinner that night without the presence of Luciano. I could hear some of them wondering among themselves why he wasn't here. I didn't say anything out loud because I was wondering the same too. It seemed strange that he would just leave. Unless of course something happened. Maybe something had gone wrong. Which was why he had met me so quickly and left just as quick. That explained that. He hadn't even sent a text. Nothing to say that he was leaving and when he would be coming back, if he was going to come back because I didn't expect so. Dave leaned in closer to speak to me. “I wonder if he had to leave because of something he couldn't speak about" I knew from his tone what he meant. I turned to look at him, wondering what to respond to that. I chose a shrug, “Well, I don't really care about any of that. He's the boss after all" He smiled and looked away, back to whom he had been speaking about. I hadn't sensed any malicious intent in his voice so I shook my doubts

Luciano Just after we had finished the race, Tristan had come to me. The look on his face wasn't one that was pleasant or happy even. He was about to tell me what the issue was but then Don had to make an announcement and I had to follow next. I quickly gave a congratulatory speech and said something about the gifts. My eyes hadn't left Damon for a minute since I had arrived here. After so many weeks of being away, I was glad to see him again. He was nervous about everyone finding out the truth but I didn't know how to tell him not to worry about it. Nobody would know because I made sure they wouldn't. After saying congratulations, I went straight to where Tristan sat and pulled him aside. He needed to tell me what the issue was or I wouldn't be able to relax. He didn't look me in the eye when he said it. “A group of our vampires were killed earlier today sir. Killed brutally, they were hunters" he said. My eyes immediately went up to meet him. I began to blaze with anger and r

  • Bound By Fate, Burned By Love    Episode 92

DamonI jumped down from the house and began to run around, screaming my lungs out in happiness. It wasn't that this was a professional race or anything but it had been so long since I had raced. I didn't even think I had it in me anymore. It was a surprise, a pleasant one that I had won. I could hear the shouts behind me, coming from my coworkers as well. I turned back around and ran back towards them. Some of them ran to me as well, carrying me up like I had won a medal or trophy. You would think this was a very vital competition. Once the celebration wore off, I took the horses back to the stable and went to sit with everyone else. They high fived me as I took my seat. There was a huge smile on my face since I couldn't hold my happiness back. This wasn't an important win per say but it had raised my spirits. My eyes met his amidst all the talk and conversation, he had a proud smile on his face, one that he sent towards me along with a wink. I looked away quickly before anybod
