DAMON

“You’ve made your point. You can leave now,” I said, my voice steadier than I felt.

Clearing my throat, I tried to regain control, but the attempt was short-lived. My breath hitched as Luciano stepped closer.

He reached out, his fingers brushing the top button of my shirt before undoing it. Then the next and he smiled in satisfaction.

“What are you doing?” I asked, my voice faltering.

“You look better when you leave a few buttons loose,” He muttered with a smile and definitely a flirty and corny one at that. His fingertips trailed over the exposed skin, leaving a trail of goosebumps as I tried my best to stay still and not react.

“Stop pretending like you care about me,” I snapped, my words trembling despite my anger. I took a step back, desperate to create some distance between us. “Just leave.”

But he didn’t move. Instead, he squinted, studying me like I was a puzzle he had every intention of solving.

I turned away, biting the inside of my cheek as the corners of my eyes began to sting. I couldn’t let him see me break.

I am a hunter and my job, the only thing my parents have lived for, the only thing I get to live for was been a hunter. I was to kill him.

I was to kill….I trailed off even in my thoughts because the more I tried to do a reality check on that, the more it felt unreal.

“What’s going on?” He questioned in a low yet hoarse voice.

“Nothing. His voice ran through my head, though the cracks in my voice betrayed me.

“Tears running down your face don’t feel like othing.” My jaw tightened as I took in a deep breath not realizing until now that I had been holding my breath.

“You probably don’t want me here anyway,” I said, the words coming out sharper than I intended. “I’m a hunter. I kill your kind. You should hate me.”

He suddenly began chucking, the kind that sent a shiver down my spine. Practically everything he does sends shivers down my spine anyways. Before I could move, he stepped around to face me, forcing me to look at him.

With the tip of his finger, he tilted my chin up, his eyes locking onto mine.

“Hate you?” His lips curved into a wicked smirk. “Is that what you think, Damon?”

“What do you want from me, Luciano?” I whispered, my voice barely audible.

His smirk deepened, and for a moment, I thought he wouldn’t answer. “I could ask you the same question, but I already know the answer.”

He leaned in, his lips over mine, just barely brushing against them. “What do you want?” he whispered.

I stared at him, the weight of his gaze pulling every buried truth to the surface. My chest felt tight, my pulse deafening in my ears. And before I could stop myself, the words slipped out.

“I don't know.” I breathed.

That was all he needed.

In an instant, his hand gripped my jaw, firm but careful, and his lips crashed against mine again There was nothing gentle about this kiss—it was raw, consuming, a claim he’d been waiting to make.

His hands moved to my shirt, tugging it open with ease as I fumbled with his jacket, unable to think, unable to breathe. The world around us dissolved into nothing.

Luciano’s arms wrapped around me, pulling me flush against him, his strength undeniable as he guided me backward.

The edge of the bed caught me, and we tumbled down together, his lips never leaving mine, his presence overwhelming in every possible way.

The last coherent thought in my head was that I was utterly ruined—and I didn't care

“You’ve missed me, haven’t you?” Luciano murmured against my lips, his voice hoarse and dripping with sin.

I nodded, unable to do anything else. “Fuck you,” I whispered, my voice rasping with need as I surrendered completely.

“You should’ve reached out sooner,” he growled softly, his lips trailing down my neck like he was savoring every inch of me.

“I should’nt.” I admitted, the words tumbling out without thought. My mind was a haze, clouded by the intoxicating mix of his touch and his voice. I wasn’t even sure if I could remember what he’d said moments ago—nothing seemed to matter except him.

His hand slid lower, and when he touched my hard dick, I gasped, my body jolting as the full weight of how much I’d missed him came crashing down.

“Damon,” he murmured, his voice dark and low, a promise and a warning all in one.

“What the hell is going on in here?!”

The sharp voice pierced through the air like a knife, ripping me back to reality. I froze as Luciano and I broke apart, my head snapping toward the doorway.

I thought I had locked the fucking door!

There, standing rigid with expressions carved from pure horror, were my parents.

Mom’s hand trembled at her side, her face ashen as her wide eyes darted between me and Luciano. Dad’s jaw clenched, his fists curling as if he was already preparing to fight.

“Who—” Mom’s voice cracked before her breath hitched, her eyes narrowing. “Is that… Luciano Salvatore?”

“That should be me. Nice to meet you.” Luciano answered before I would say a word and then placed a kiss on my forehead before turning to face them.

“Ah, the legendary hunters.” He said, waving at them with a smile like this was some kind of reunion. “What an honor it is to meet you both at last.”

I felt his fingers curl around mine, and my stomach churned.

“Damon,” Dad growled, his voice a dangerous rumble. “Step away from him. Now.”

I made to stand up but Luciano tightened his grasp on me under the sheet while glaring at me with a murderous glint in his eyes.

“Step away? We're in the middle of having sex, ya think it would be pleasant to see your son's penis as he stands up to step away?” My mother gasped, her hand flying to her mouth, while Dad’s expression twisted into fury.

“You both have such bad timing, i didn't even get to finish.” He muttered like he was whining and even I stared at him in surprise, shock and everything in between.

I wanted to scream, to explain, to do something, but the weight of Luciano’s presence and the murderous intent in my father’s eyes rooted me to the spot.

“Let’s see how good the hunters are when the prey doesn’t want to be saved.” Luciano said with a smile on his face as my dad held out his saber.

I wasn’t sure if I’d survive the next few moments—but if there was one thing I did know, it was that Luciano had no intention of leaving quietly. It was all there in his looks, I'm done for

LucianoThere on his bed, my father lay, blood all over the sheets and his body torn into half. He was dead, no, he had been killed. I stared at the scene in front of me, blank at first. I couldn't believe, I didn't want to. My father was a mighty warrior. He had fought so many on his own, brought kingdoms to their knees with just his commands. He couldn't be dead. In the distance, I could hear the cries from my men as they found him just like I had and it angered me. Gone was the blankness, the only thing that remained was rage, simmering and boiling. I wanted to tear everybody who had done this apart. I turned to the men and asked:, “How did this happen?" My voice was calm and they knew I was beyond reason. They didn't answer me, their eyes didn't meet mine. Right under their noses someone had snuck inside this house, this fortress of ours and taken my dad's life. The anger in me rose beyond measure, all I could see was red and then a high scream from in front of me. I had tor

DamonThere was darkness around me when I opened my eyes again. He hadn't let me out in all the time I had been here and somehow I had managed to fall asleep. I felt the panic rise in my chest as I looked around me. I wasn't sure where the door was but I couldn't stand it here anymore. I had to plead to him, maybe he would let me out then. I managed to walk my way through the empty room, hitting a wall before I realized I was close to the door. I began feeling the wall to find my way to the door and finally my hand felt the hard wood. I touched it to make sure I had felt right. It was the door so I banged against it repeatedly. “Let me out" I screamed, hitting the door. There was no reply at first but it didn't stop me from continuing. I hit against the door, somehow he would hear me and would get me out of here. I felt a sudden headache and fatigue that hadn't been there before. I had to rest against the door, my voice reducing due to how tired I felt. “Luciano" I heard it befo

LucianoI found his car almost immediately. Unlike in the other camera where I couldn't see anything else except its shadow and the silver glint, his plate number was visible to me now. I grinned largely at the camera. This way I would be able to send out information on all roads leading out of here and their cameras could be checked to see where he went. When I was done noting it down, I turned to the man in the room with me, clapping my hands on his back. I told him to continue with what he was doing and forget this had even happened. Then, I went back to my car and back to the house. Lucien was waiting outside for me. I opened the doors and he came in. “Did you clear all of it?" I asked him. He nodded his head, “Yes sir. It's all done, no clue that he was even there" I nodded, “I found his plate number. We can trace him with that. I'm sending it over to you, send it to all our guys. I want his location in thirty minutes” I instructed him. I sent the message to him and we wen

Luciano It had been two hours since he had contacted me. I hadn't heard or received any messages from him and I could feel my nervousness increase along with my anger. How dare he think he can just take Damon and go free? I turned to Lucien, Tristan hadn't come back from his side of the plan and I had sent a text for him to come. “There's no way to track where he went to? And how about Alaric? I put him on Damon!" I shouted, I had totally forgotten about it. I picked my phone up and typed in his number, calling him but it went straight to voicemail. I tried it again and this time it rang but he didn't pick it up. There was no choice,I had to go see for myself. “Let's go towards his house, he could be there" I said to Lucien who took me to the car and we drove off. Inside, I couldn't help but worry about Damon. He could be doing anything to Damon and I wouldn't know what it was. What did he even want from me? I decided to try it the classic way, sending him a text, “What do you

DamonIt felt like the world had stopped still when he was done talking. I couldn't move, standing frozen and staring at him. Maybe I hadn't heard right. He shook his head smiling, “You definitely heard right. I just needed to take that off the table before we continued" he finished. He went to the shelf and picked out two books, coming towards me again with them. “You need to sit and read this. I'm not sure you'll understand it all well enough without sitting” he led me towards the chair in the room. I followed behind him, unable to say anything else. So much was happening and somehow I was lost in all of it. I could have asked him what was happening at that moment. I had somehow found myself with the enemy. This time I hadn't fallen into just any vampire's trap, no, I had chosen one of Luciano's enemies to fall into. As I sat down on the chair, I looked at Rhys, unable to believe that he had faked so much for all that time. The dance we had shared at the club, including the lu

DamonLuca and I had finished playing our games and had decided to go to bed when my phone rang again. A text from Rhys. “Come on, answer that" Luca said as he went into the bathroom. Grudgingly, I picked up my phone and read his texts. “Let me make it up to you" I sent back a text, “How do you plan on doing so?" I asked and put it aside while changing into our boys night pyjamas. He replied pretty quickly because my phone pinged almost immediately. “If you come see me in ten minutes, I'll show you how" and a smiley emoji. I rolled my eyes at his confidence, it was something I liked but right now it was annoying. “It's past midnight and do you even know where I am?" I sent back. His text came in quickly “I don't care where you are, I'll come get you and the time doesn't change anything" he was pretty confident and now it was hot. Finally, I caved in. It wasn't as if he was going to kidnap me or anything. I would simply tell Luca I was going to see a friend and I would be back so
