Seraphina's POV.

It was as if I were in another universe, where the distant sounds of the kingdom's revival were still present and not within my hearing range. There was hammering and voices calling to each other, but nothing connected with me. I was suffocated by the constant barrage of pressure, magic and an impending war.

All the noise of the kingdom rebuilding felt so far away, like it belonged to another world without me in it. I could hear the hammering, people calling out, even smell the wood and stone, but it didn’t really reach me. My mind was somewhere else and I was caught in the pressure, the magic, and the thought of the war getting closer.

The sun was shining so low on the horizon with a stretch long shadows across the land. I stood at the edge of the palace balcony, watching the people working hard to restore the lost glory of the kingdom.

Everyone was busy, working hard to rebuild, trying to fix something out of the and back restore something from the ruins. As I was

Seraphina's POV. The air felt like it charged and automated even the ground seemed to know what was coming.. The rogue stronghold menaced in the distance dark and heavy, daring premonition of the violence to come and I was standing on the edge of a cliff and with just a slip or one wrong move and it could all fall apart.I had brought my people this far through the ruined lands and past the scars of their raids. But standing right at the gates of the rogues’ stronghold now, my chest felt tightened under the weight of it all. This was the end. The last fight. The moment that would decide everything.Fabian stood beside me, his eyes full of determination but I could see the worry in them too.. He had a clear understanding of the implications. The kingdom wasn't the only reason for our fighting. We were in a struggle for our lives. For the future. For peace. Especially crucial, for managing the influence I had been carrying for a long time. I’m with you,” Fabian’s voice was so soft and

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King     The Breaking Point .

Seraphina’s POV My heart slammed against her ribs with each beating sounded like a warning declaring that time was almost gone and so was her control. The magic inside me was clawing to break free. All around me there was steel crashing, wolves snarling and people screaming yet it felt distant, like it was happening in another place. I could still hear the whole sound but my head was slipping, pulled me straight into the storm inside.Every fiber within me was screaming and protesting like it was sounding a warning at me that I was losing myself. My body seemed it was trembling under the force of the magic, that strange and uncontrollable power surging beneath my skin. Each pulse made me felt less like myself and more like a creature born only for destruction.“Fabian!” I felt like I was suffocated and made effort to take sufficient air as l breathed yet my throat felt dry the word could barely make it past my lips. I was fighting just to stay on my feet. The battle was still raging

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Battle of Shadows.

Seraphina's POV. The atmosphere was filled with tension, though the storm had passed yet it still felt heavy in the air like it darkened sky. Fabian and I were at the edge of the Moonridge hills, staring the land before us like a blank canvas covered in blood. We had come here with a mission and intention to put an end to the whispers of rebellion that poses as a threatened to the unity of the packs. But as the wind shifted suddenly, we could perceive the faint smell of earth and smoke, I felt that this wasn’t just about rebellion anymore. It was about something far deeper, something more dangerous.Fabian! His stance was looking so rigid, every line on him has braced up for what was coming, “he said it out loud, though the words felt too small for the weight they carried. We could actually see the truth was already visible in the air. His eyes scanned the horizon, every muscle in his body tightened as he ready for anything.I felt it too. The tension, the uncertainty. Something was

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King     Rebuilding What Was Lost .

Seraphina’s POVThe air reeked like dust so sharp and dry, it made the whole place stuffy and the sound of hammers drumming through the streets. The kingdom was trying to build itself back together gradually the palace walls were going up again where they had once been broken. I stood there watching and I should have felt hopeful, but I didn’t. My chest felt heavy like something about it just didn’t feel right. Something was off. It should have felt like peace but it didn’t.Their laughter, their shouts and the rhythm of their tools, should have been comforting. It should have told me we were safe again. But instead, it felt so fragile like a flame fluttering in the wind. For every brick laid, I couldn’t stop wondering what shadows might be waiting to tear it all down again. Beneath the sound of rebuilding, there was an unusual silence that seemed too heavy to be ignored like every stone set in place was leading us toward something larger and something darker waiting just beyond the

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Storm Before Dawn.

Seraphina's POV. It was a rebuilding process, wall by wall, and stone by brick. They heard hammers against stone, the murmurings of people working together and those crackling of fire in the hearths. The people were gripped by a stillness that permeated even in the midst of their work, despite the fragile progress made. Everybody seemed to be anticipating something. And so was I. We were positioned on the palace balcony, with Fabian by my side, and observed the workers below. After a long period of darkness, the sun appeared to light up new streets, and the first stars seemed to break through the fog. The peace that had been established was fragile. Nonetheless, it seemed fragile indeed. Too fragile. I asked, "Will it be enough to last?" with a barely audible voice. The topic of my inquiry was not the kingdom's walls or its reconstruction. I was not asking about our relationship, but rather the commitment we made to move forward from the past. Fabian maintained a fixed stare at t
