16. Roller-coaster of emotions

It started freezing as the moon shone up above in the sky. I quickly swam towards the deck. I got on my feet and my clothes, including me sneakers, duh, were all soaked up and dripped. I’d completely forgotten I’d worn only a blue jumpsuit and I groaned. I hated this feeling. The feeling of your clothes sticking to your body.

“Look at what you’ve done! I’m freaking wet because of you!” I whimpered at him, trying to get away the dress from sticking to my body. It felt so uncomfortable. And the cold breeze blowing didn’t make it any better.

Kevin just smirked and wriggled his eyebrows. Ew!!

“Seriously?!” I yelled as he pulled himself back on the deck. And I took that moment to push him back into the water.

“Hey!” he shrieked.

“Gotcha!” I burst out laughing as he splashed back into the water.
