CRYSTINA’S POV

He called me Crystina! Luka called me Crystina and it felt strange. When was the last time he called me by my name? It felt different because I could feel the anger and pain behind those words. I’m utterly confused about what was going on. Why was he so angry? Why did he want to kill Aiden that badly?

After Luka left, I picked up the pieces of my pride and dignity from the floor, rubbed them against the surface of my hurt, and walked out along with Paige. Paige held my hand as we walked out of the hotel room. A little crowd had gathered to watch us and as I walked by and past them, I could hear their gossip, and whispers and I can’t even understand what they were saying.

“You’re wounded, Crystina,” Paige shrieked as we walked into my bedroom at Luka’s mansion. I couldn’t even bear walking into his room right now. He’s asked me to stay away from him.

“It’s not that bad,” I plopped onto the bed.

“What do you mean it’s not that bad? You’re bleeding,” I examined my pal
