CHAPTER 9: WHAT IS HAPPENING?

REAH'S POV 

My eyes were fixed on the marriage certificate in my hand that served as evidence of my wedding. I couldn't believe I just got married to my first love, the guy I've always been in love with, without him even knowing. 

Though the love wasn't that great at the moment as he seemed to dislike me for some reason I had no idea about, I knew he would get to like me when he found out how good of a girl I could be. Maybe he once was hurt by a girl?

Well... I just had to help him heal, right?

I looked at him, studying his handsome face that was enough to send any girl into a fantasy dream and a small blush found its way to my cheeks. I covered my mouth, lowered my eyes and chuckled secretly. 

"Reah!" An angry call from my side woke me up from my dreamland and I was startled. 

My heart raced violently as I turned my head to see Alpha Xavier, who was glaring at me as if he was ready to burn me alive. He glared furiously at me, his eyes sparkling with unquenchable fire and my heart palpitated. 

"What..." I couldn't complete a sentence when he grabbed my neck and locked me to the car, his face close to mine as he searched my face. 

"Tell me this information is a lie," He muttered, his voice a low whisper. 

I was confused, what was going on? 

I grabbed the hand that held my neck which was getting tighter by the second and struggled fiercely "What the hell are you talking about? Free me!" I yelled with all the strength I could muster while hitting his hand. 

His expression turned darker as he removed his hand from my neck, making me fall to the side. "Are you a witch?" His anger was no longer so obvious but I knew he was still very angry. However, what truly surprised me was the question he asked. 

"Witch? What's that?" I asked, giving him a questioning look as I coughed lightly and touched my neck which still felt quite painful even after it was released. 

His eyes flashed and he moved to grab my neck again but I quickly moved backwards "Can you just tell me what is wrong? Why do you keep hurting me?!" I yelled, trying my best to make sure no tears escaped my eyes as I would hate to act weak in front of him. 

"Are you a witch?" Each word came out of his mouth with disgust. He made it very obvious that the word "Witch" was his biggest enemy and that made me even more scared. 

Fear gripped my heart as I tried to open the car door without him knowing. "I'm human, I'm not a witch. I'm fully human," I told him, hoping he would believe me while also wondering why he would think of me as a witch. 

He growled, he looked at his Beta, who was sitting in the driver's seat without any care in the world. It was like he wasn't even there at all and nothing was happening behind him. "Get out," Alpha Xavier said to him and my eyes widened. 

I opened my mouth to beg him not to leave but it was too late and by the time I turned around, he already closed the door, leaving Alpha Watson alone with me inside the car! "What are you going to do to me?" I couldn't help but ask with fear in my tone. 

He moved closer to me and grabbed my hand, pulling me closer to him. "I can confirm if you are one," He said as his hand grabbed my shirt and pulled on it. It was so sudden that I wasn't able to stop him on time and by the time I was able to, he had already broken off the buttons, revealing my breasts which were only covered by my bra!

I closed my eyes, covered my mouth and screamed. I couldn't believe what was going on. I couldn't believe what just happened and why it happened. He... He really did this to me?

I thought it was going to end there, I thought he wouldn't go further but I found out that was all in my head when I felt my bra released and removed from me! 

He tore my bra too!

I opened my eyes to see my breasts, fully exposed in front of him with nothing covering me at all. He stared at my breasts for a few seconds before he grabbed my hand, pulling me close again. He turned me around, raised the torn shirt and looked at my back. 

There was silence in the car for a few seconds, I couldn't cry, I couldn't scream, I couldn't even think about anything as my entire mind was blank. What the hell was happening to me?

He suddenly turned me to face him again and his hands moved toward my skirt as if he was going to cut that too. I quickly moved back, placing my hands on my skirt as I glared at him. "If you touch me with those filthy hands of yours one more time, I swear, I will kill you!" I yelled as tears rolled down my eyes. 

I could no longer pretend to be strong, I wasn't strong at all and being treated this way broke me more than I could ever imagine. Especially when it came from the man I had always loved!

He stared at my face and his eyes fell on my exposed chest. His eyes flashed for a few seconds before he removed his jacket and threw it at me. "Wear this." He said, turned around, opened the door and stepped down. "I'm waiting for you right here." He added before he closed the door. 

I was still staring at the jacket when I heard his next word to his Beta and I froze... What the heck?!
