Chapter 30: Mommy 2

Ann: "No, baby, that's too impromptu. Hammy might have other plans. Maybe her husband is back, maybe"

Me: "Hey, hey, hey, princess. If you don't want to go, it's fine. I understand. But I don't want you sleeping alone."

Ann: "I can take care of myself." She said nonchalantly

Me: "I know. But I won't rest. So here's what I'll do: I'll send my assistant to sleep over in the guest room, with two of my personal bodyguards."

Ann: "Baby, that's really not necessary. It's okay. I know you'll be back first thing tomorrow, once Mommy's home."

Me: "Princess, I can't compromise on your safety."

Ann: (Accepts the situation) "Okay, baby."

Me: "Good. What do you want for dinner?"

Ann: "I don't know. I'm not hungry."

Me: "Okay. I know what to do."

Still on the call, I asked her to hold on, muted my line, and used my other phone to call my assistant. The phone I rarely used apart from work. He was probably sleeping, about to sleep, or having family time but I didn't care. I decided I'd give him a bonus at month's end.

Assistant: "Hello, sir. Good day."

Me: "Hey. Good day."

Assistant: "What are your instructions, sir?"

Me: "I'm at the family house. My mom's out of town, so I have to stay until she's back. I need you to go to my condo and sleep over in the guest room. Your mistress is alone, and it's not safe."

Assistant: "Sir, you mean I should"

Me: "I mean exactly what I said. Bring two guards with you in case of emergency, you'll have more hands."

Assistant: "Yes, sir. I'll carry it out right away."

Me: "Good. On your way, pick up cream pasta, turkey, and assorted chocolates, cakes, and cookies for your young mistress. Make sure it's what girls like. If she complains about any flavor being bad, I'll send you to Africa."

Assistant: "No problem, sir. I'll carry out the task well."

Me: "Also, get food for yourself and the others. Put it on my account."

Assistant: "Thank you very much, sir. We're grateful."

Me: "If you all perform well, you get a 50% bonus this month."

Assistant: "We'll carry out our job well."

I ended the call and unmuted the line with Ann.

Me: "Hey, babe, sorry had to make a call."

Ann: "It's fine." She said , still giving me attitude

Me: "I called my assistant. He'll be there shortly with two bodyguards. They'll bring your dinner."

Ann: "But, baby, I'm not hungry."

Me: "I know. Have you showered yet?"

Ann: "No, not yet."

Me: "Okay, go shower. I've already had mine. I'll stay on call and wait for you."

Ann: "But I don't want to get up."

Me: "Get up, lazy ass."

She laughed and went to shower. She came back to the room in a towel. Shit, I was about to lose my mind. I didn't know why, but ever since I got with Ann, I couldn't control myself. My princess was addictive.
