Felix's Story 13
Felix allowed Jomi to pull him along ignoring the stares and curious glances the other students sent towards them. He slid his other hand into his pocket. They kept quiet as they walked when a car suddenly pulled beside them. The black glass rolled downwards and Felix chuckled.
“G? When did you come back?” Felix asked and George laughed heartily.
“A few days ago” George replied as he turned towards Jomi who was looking at him curiously.
“Ohh, this is Jomiloju” Felix introduced and Jomi gave George a small smile as she nodded.
“Anjola will be so happy you are back already” Felix said and George laughed.
“Then Kola will be ready to chop off my head. Where are you off to?” George asked.
“Crunchies” Felix replied and George used his head to tell them to get into the car.

Felix watched as Stephen parked the car and got down from the car. He sighed as he opened the door and got down as well. David and Paul walked up to them as soon as they got down.“How was your date?” Paul asked and Felix shrugged without saying a word and walked inside the house.“What’s going on?” Paul asked as he pointed to Felix’s retreating back. Stephen glanced at him and shrugged his shoulders as well.“He needs time and space for now” Stephen replied as he sighed.“It’s taking him so long to realize it” Paul said as he folded his hands while David watched with pursed lips.“You can’t blame him. If he needs time, then give him time, don’t push him too much” David said and Stephen swallowed his saliva without saying anything.“Should I bring your dinner to your room?” Anjola asked as soon as Felix walked inside the house.

Felix pursed his lips lightly as he turned to Paul. “Did you really feel like that at a point in time?” Felix asked and Paul nodded with a smile.“Of course. I had mine better. Maryorkun had it worse as you might have realized, Stephen as well since it was his alternate personality that liked Tolani. We all had it Felix and trust me it was hard. Kola had it the worse actually. That’s one of the reasons he and Anjola have the best relationship. There’s no big deal in trying to be sure of your feelings” Paul replied.“It’s okay. It’s definitely normal. Take your time Felix but at the same time I want you to calm down okay? I want you to relax and trust me, it wouldn’t be long before everything falls in place” Paul added with a smile. Felix chuckled as he reached over and pulled Paul in for a hug.“Thank you Paul. Thank you very much” Felix said as he got down from the car.

“Man, what did you do?” Paul asked as they rushed towards where Felix was standing alone.“I allowed her to walk away. She’ll be free if she does that” Felix said slowly as he turned to his friends.“I don’t even know how I feel towards her; why should I keep holding her by my side when because I know she won’t leave?” Felix asked slowly as everyone fell silent.“It has been unfair to her for a long time now, I should let her go” Felix said as he started walking away slowly.“Felix” Kola called as Felix turned towards him.“I’ll see if you can live without her” Kola said before he walked towards him and patted his shoulder and walked away.“Let’s go home” Paul said softly as he placed his hand around Felix. Felix collected the empty bottle from her hand and Jomi pouted as she laughed.“I’ll tell you something, you look like him so much but you are not as handsome as him. He has this pretty bit calm eyes, beautiful and straight nose and his lips are so pretty” Jomi gushed as George turned to Felix while he laughed slightly.“He’s very handsome. You are not handsome as him. Let me tell you something, when he laughs, it’s like the whole world has lightened up. Felix turned to Jomi with wide eyes “What did you say you told your dad?” Felix asked as Jomi burst into laughter.“I told him she made me fight with her boyfriend” Jomi replied as felix stared at her incredulously.“And he removed them just like that?” Felix asked and Jomi laughed as she shook her head.“Kanyin’s dad is one of my daddy’s favourite Commissioners, do you really think he’ll remove him because of that? Why do you think the news didn’t carry it?” Jomi asked as she laughed.“My dad just told him to talk to his daughter. It was a fake rumour” Jomi said and Felix chuckled.“You are really close to your dad. When you told me you were close to him, I wasn’t unable to define how close you guys were but listening to you know, I know you two are very, very very, close” Felix said softly and Jomi chuckled.“Are you jealous?”

“I’ve told you to stop calling him my boyfriend” Jomi said and Efe grinned back at her.“He will be soon” Efe replied as everyone continued clapping as Jomi started to make her way towards the MC. Seeing Felix standing beside the MC, she laughed and shook her head. She didn’t know why she felt concerned when the MC started talking. The MC didn’t mention any names but she felt like he was talking to her.She made her way over as Felix stretched his hand over to Jomi and helped her on the stage. They stood opposite each other as the hall went silent.“I already tried to practice what I was going to say but damn it, I can’t even remember right now” Felix said and everyone burst into laughter.“I usually don’t know how to say a lot of things to emphasize my point or to express my feelings; that’s why most of the times I use my actions to express myself. Elizabeth rubbed her forehead as soon as the lecturer packed his notes and exited the lecture theatre. She closed her note and sling her bag over her shoulders as she walked out of the hall.Her jean trousers hugged her lean legs and the long top she wore was slightly baggy hiding her small frame.She brought her out her phone and scrolled through the departmental messages, signing quietly after realizing that another class had been fixed and it was to hold about two hours later.She walked briskly towards the eatery nearby and walked inside settling at a corner and placing her book on the table. She brought out her phone and opened the wattpad app on her phone while at the same time fixed her ear pods in her ears.She had recently be intrigued by a book she found on wattpad and was really enjoying the book.
