“Marry me, Oliva.”

I felt like I had misheard and it forced me to blink my eyes at him.

His face was neutral but his eyes screamed that it wasn’t a bluff.

“Exc..excuse..me.” I stuttered as my mind was still trying to register that I had just heard.

“Marry me, Olivia Scott. If you aren’t not allowing me to see my daughter, I have this proposal for you. We can marry and raise her together. It’s a fair preposition in my opinion.” He said very smoothly without any hesitation while I was staring at him blankly.

My heart wanted to leap out of my chest. My ex-husband was proposing me to marry him without knowing the past we shared. I didn’t understand how to react on this because past emotions, both bitter and sweet were stirring inside me.

It was an arranged marriage before in which I invested my love and dedication. History seemed to turn its wheel again. He wanted me to marry him for the sake of our daughter.
