Jeremy was unsure of how to react or what to say to what Diane just said. He decided to keep quiet so that she can say whatever is on her mind, if she was still hugging him after finding out he was married then she has something on her mind.
"I sent her away because I know she was in the wrong house" she continued yawning.
Jeremy maintained his silence after noticing that she hadn't believed Rose was truly his wife. It is now his responsibility to explain things to her in the most careful way ever so that she would understand.

Rose went back into the party, she saw Gabriella having a conversation with Benjamin. She was laughing at something he said. She rested slightly on him, rubbing herself on him. Diane was just coming out of the shower when her phone started ringing. Picking up the call, she felt reluctant doing so because she doesn't feel the need to speak with the person. "Hi Diane," Michael said into the phone, a little nervous. He became flustered as soon as she picked the call but he needed to do as Rose asked him to. "What do you want?"
