Performance in school
Coming back from shopping, tofu swiftly started cleaning and making space for her new clothes in the wardrobe. Wile she was busy re-arranging the clothes and other stuff Shen Yi entered her room, "Which typhoon passed by?"
Turning her head towards the source of voice, tofu showed a surprised expression, "I guess a typhoon named Shen Yi is going to pass by. Why are you here?"
Tofu turned around and immersed herself in the rearrangement again without paying a lot of attention to Shen Yi.
Keeping both of his hands on the chest, Shen Yi made a painful expression coupled with sad face, "Ahhh, look, I came here with a good news and you heartless girl.....you are calling me a typhoon."
Without giving Shen Yi anymore time to say anything tofu nonchalantly muttered, "Are you any different than a typhoon?"

This celebration happens in the end of the year and everyone is excited for it as it is the only large scale celebration and it is the only way students can show their extracurricular activities in front of their parents. This is also the reason that no student is excepted from taking part in the celebration. The performances consist of dancing, singing, playing music, acting, comedy, mimicry , any and everything which is fine on playing in terms of an academic ground. Many students will start preparing for it since long time.As soon as professor Huo announced many students including Shen Yi and Tofu also raised their hands indicating that they had their performances ready. The practice room in Tofu's house was beautifully decorated. It was a spare room which was used as a storage room by Mother Jiang. The room had big, wide windows covered with plain white curtains. The floor was mat and had a wooden texture to prevent from slipping. Right besides the window there was a big huge piano along with two chairs. The piano which was sleek black colored was a complete contrast to the curtains on the window. Except the side of the piano and the window all the three sides of the room were fitted with mirrors. The ceiling was clad with golden shiny chandelier. All in all it was a paradise.Both Shen Yi and Tofu changed their dresses and entered the room. Tofu was now wearing a simple top along with shorts coupled with little high heeled shoes. Shen Yi was clad in a white shirt and black shorts coupled with shoes."What should we practice first?"asked Tofu after entering inside the room looking at the piano, singing equipment and everything else.

Mother Li was standing behind Tofu and tying her hairs into a bun so it wouldn't affect her while performance. Tying the hair, Mother Li studded the bun's with white diamond's which were in the shape of a star, while on the front a hair band with thin moon and star was attached,"How does it look baby?" asked Mother Li after giving it a finishing touch.Tofu who was sleepy and was swaying her head mildly woke up, opened her eyes and looked at the beautiful hairstyle, "Woww, Godmother you are awesome."Mother Jiang then painted Tofu's face with little makeup. Mother Jiang highlighted Tofu's eyes, painted red lipstick on her little ruddy lips and at last added some blush and foundation for her to look fresh till her performance.In the end, both the mother's helped Tofu wearing a black gown studded with diamonds making it seem like bright stars in the dark sky. Soon it was time for Tofu and Shen Yi's performance. The auditorium went dark. Under the darkness there was a figure of a small boy and girl walking towards the Piano hand in hand. Through the darkness it seemed like the boy was leading the girl carefully amidst the darkness. Both took their seats and soon a simple melody started playing. The whole auditorium was enveloped in darkness while only the two people playing piano, who were under spotlights were visible."Isn't it Fur Elise?""Yes, it sounds like Fur Elise""My god, can children play Fur Elise?""That's what I am thinking, it is a very tough one for such small children's to play.""Probably they would only play the simple part and skip the second half of the music.""Yes, yes, that could be the case."As soon as Tofu and Shen Yi started playing the melody many people recognized the music which was being played. Elegantly dropping her ribbon on the floor Tofu caught Shen Yi's hand which was stretched. As soon as their hand's joined a completely different fast music started playing. Shen Yi was the lead dancer and was incharge of twirling, spinning Tofu elegantly. With each twirl, each spin, tofu's long hairs were moving along with her head making it seem magical. First few steps were basic salsa steps while as the song progressed, the steps became a little complicated and at the end of the dance. Tofu who was at one end of the stage started running towards Shen Yi, who was standing at the middle of the stage. Reaching near Shen Yi, Tofu did a big jump while Shen Yi bended a little bit to catch her and raise her holding through her waist on top.One second passedTwo second passedThree second passedSuddenly a single clap resounded in the auditorium, which woke up all the audience following which a loud cheering was soon heard.Everyone including Mother Ji

Handing the mike back to emcee, bot Tofu and Shen Yi exited the stage with their usual graceful appearance. Reaching below the stage, tofu simply pinched her gown in her both hands from the sides, raised it till her knee and dashed at the best speed towards her family leaving Shen Yi behind. Looking at Tofu running with her full speed, Shen Yi kept wondering what would have made her run like a mad person. Nonetheless he kept his usual appearance and kept walking slowly.The next performance was already going on, but the whole audience were still immersed on the performance of Shen Yi and Tofu. It seemed as if they were the talk of the town and the number one gossip.Rushing with her full speed, Tofu stopped only when she reached the place where her family was supposed to sit. Both Mother Jiang and Father Jiang were beaming with happiness thinking their baby daughter was running to reach them. Father Jiang even had tears in his eyes, while Mother Jiang kept praising her
