As soon as Rain stepped out of the room, Jac stepped in and stormed towards me, hitting the plates off my hands.

“Get away from my sister!” he sounded pained.

“You and your goddamn bitch caused this and now? You're trying to act like angels to her?” there was a hint of disgust in his tone as he stared at me.

His gaze held a glint of sorrow and hurt.

I stood up from the bed even when Lily had held and grabbed my hands, shaking her head and pouting her lips.

I had to leave her side for the sake of peace.

“Jac,” She called out after me, looking towards me but Jac grabbed and forced her chin to face him.

“I’m Jac. He's Lucien. He made you this way.” he seethed trying to instill hate in Lily’s mind.

I was about to utter some words when the door pushed open and Raina walked in.

Raina seemed to be startled at the sight of Jac but when her gaze met mine, her body seemed to be relieved.
