I could not stay in the house while a fight was taking place outside, so I opened the pack's mindlink and sent them a message to remain calm.

I could sense their fear and I asked myself, "Why are we being attacked?" The battle seemed to have no end and it appeared that we were on the losing side.

When I looked outside, I noticed a group of wolves heading towards the house. I knew I could not stay inside like a coward, so I decided to take action.

I was no longer the same Violet I used to be and I was determined to save myself and the pack.

I told Snow, "You have to do your best today," and she replied, "I won't let you down."

This was the first time I would be shifting in front of people, but I didn't care. I shifted to my wolf form and waited for the attack.
