“Whoever held you up… it looks like you had fun,” she purred. My cheeks heated and I looked outside the window. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I lied. “Sure,” Nikki said knowingly. “Have you been crying?” Mavy asked. “I’d appreciate it,” I said. I looked over my shoulder and gave her a fake smile. Gabe stares at me and I turn back to the sink.
