Kael.

I couldn’t sleep, not even for a minute. The office was dim ans lit only by the half dead lamp on my desk and the faint glow from the city outside the window. The glass caught the reflection of my face looking so fucking tired, hard and furious.

I’d been sitting there for hours with papers scattered all over the desk and half a bottle of whiskey staring back at me. The same bottle I told myself I’d never touch again. But my hands wouldn’t stop shaking and my mind wouldn’t stop spinning. So I drank.

Not because of her at least that’s what I kept telling myself. But even in my own head it sounded like a lie. It was because of her. It was always because of her.

I leaned back in my chair running a hand over my face. My palms were rough still smelling faintly of her skin, that soft and infuriating scent I couldn’t scrub out no matter how many times I’d tried. I could still feel her lips on mine still see the look in her eyes when I left her room.

Broke and confused and so hot angr

Kael. I did not want to sleep that night but my body gave up on me. I lay beside Arielle and watched her chest rise and fall. She looked peaceful for once. I wanted to hold her but fear sat heavy in my chest like a stone. The pain I felt whenever I touched her was still fresh in my mind. It made me feel useless and angry. I closed my eyes because I wanted rest but instead of sleep I felt myself sinking again into that strange place I had been in before. A place that felt like a dream and also felt too real.Everything around me was dark at first then slowly I saw a faint glow that grew brighter until I could see a shape walking toward me. I knew who it was before he fully appeared and it ws my father. Or whatever was left of him. His face looked the same and his eyes looked the same but he carried something heavy in the air around him like he was bringing a warning with him. He stopped a few steps away from me and looked at me with the same expression he used to have when he wanted

  • Claimed By His Daddy (Stripper/Nerd)   135- Softened Jax

Third Person’s POVDiane pushed the curtain aside and stepped into the Prophetess’s hut slowly like she was entering a place holy and dangerous at the same time. The air inside was thick with the smell of burning leaves and crushed hers. It wrapped around her like smoke and made her eyes sting a little. She held the basket of dried herbs close to her chest as she crossed the room. Her steps were quiet on the floor because she did not want to disturb anything in this place. The Prophetess liked silence which Diane learned that months ago. She placed the basket down gently on the small wooden table near the wall and wiped her palms on her skirt because her hands were suddenly sweating. The Prophetess sat on her usual seat, a carved wooden chair that looked older than everyone in the pack combined. Her eyes were fixed on Diane but they were not warm. They were the kind of eyes that saw through lies before they were even spoken. Diane felt the weight of that stare and forced herself no

Arielle. I woke up feeling like my head was packed with stones. Heavy ones. The sunlight coming into the room made my eyes sting a little but I still turned my face toward it because I needed something warm and real. My body felt weak like I had run for hours but I knew I hadn’t done anything except lie here unconscious. I didn’t even know how long I had been out. When I tried to sit up slowly a sharp pain pricked through my chest and I took in a shaky breath.Kael was not in the room. That was the first thing I noticed. The second thing was the faint smell of his scent still lingering around the bed. Strong and clean like the woods after rain. It made something ache inside me. I didn’t know why everything between us suddenly felt like walking on glass. One wrong step and everything shatters.I pulled the blanket up to my chest and stayed still for a moment trying to understand why I felt so empty. Then the memories came little by little. The way I had collapsed during training the

Kael. I did not sleep that night. I sat on the chair beside Arielle’s bed for hours and watched her breathing go steady again. Her lashes kept fluttering like she was dreaming about something and I wanted to shake her awake and ask her what she saw. I wanted to know if the runes were affecting her mind too but I didn’t do anything. I just sat there and let the worry eat me from the inside. Every time she shifted I leaned forward a little. My wolf kept pacing inside me and saying he could smell danger. I didn’t know if it was the same danger I saw glowing on her stomach or if it was something else entirely.I didn’t want to leave her but I knew I had no choice. If I waited until morning the wrong people would hear about the runes. Then the gossip would begin and soon it would reach the Prophetess and she would come here pretending to care. I didn’t want her near Arielle like this. Not when I didn’t even know what we were facing.I stood up slowly so I wouldn’t wake her. She was sleep

  • Claimed By His Daddy (Stripper/Nerd)   132- The wizard

Kael“What the fuck are you doing here?” I growled as I walked closer. My steps were slow but heavy because my anger literally shakes my knees. Jasmine opened her mouth but nothing came out. The wizard lifted his hand like he wanted to cast something and that alone irritated me. Me??? He doesn’t know who the fuck I am???I didn’t wait for him to say anything i launched at him. The trees shook when we crashed into them. He tried to throw spells but my wolf was too close to the surface. I felt claws pushing out and my vision sharpened. I slammed him into the ground. He coughed blood and tried to fight back. It made me angrier so I grabbed him and hit him again and again. The forest echoed with the impact. I didn’t stop till he stopped moving. I wanted something to poor out my anger at and he is the perfect target. “Patrol!” I shouted and within seconds two guards appeared. “Take him to the dungeon. No healing and he can rot there till I decide to seem him.”They dragged him away whil
