An attack?

Madison POV

That Liam of a guy kept looking at me with some kind of eyes I don’t like at all. No need for me to be told, even if everyone in this building likes me, this Liam won’t. I am not exaggerating; I know what I am saying.

“Zach, a word?” Liam drags Zach away and I am left with Adrian, Zane and Krystal in an awkward silence. I fold in my lips and gave a fake smile.

Liam left with Zach and I stare at the rest of the men, each of them had their eyebrows raised. They all have the kind of energy Zach has, this cocky and persuasive kind of energy although Zane seemed nice.

Zach Westley POV

“What do you think you are doing?” Liam snaps at me once Adrian, Madison, Krystal and Zane are out of hearing range. I carve my brows at his question. 

“What is she doing here Zach? She is not supposed to be here. Zach your parents are here and you should not just bring in some kind of female doctor. She is a doctor not a mafia. You can’t waltz in here and bring a girl on your arm, especially if you want to keep her around”

I’ve heard enough of Liam and I am pissed. I grab him by his collar and pulled him closer to myself. “May I remind you of who the boss is?” I glared at him

“No one hurts what’s mine, she is under my watch and that makes her untouchable. Mind your own f*cking business…henceforth or I make you cry back to your momma” I replied. Liam jaw is clenched and once I released him, I walk back towards Madison and the rest of them.

 

“Can we go have a seat now?” I ask her. Madison said nothing but sighed and walks with me.

 

Madison POV

I don’t know why but I feel like a baby amongst them, every one of them has this radio earpiece in their ears.

 I do see secret agents in movies make use of it, Zach and his crews are definitely trying to stay alert. Everyone in the hall is wearing this beautiful smile on their faces, they look happy and that makes me wonder why there would eventually be an attack or something.

We got to a table and one of Zach’s men pulled the chair for me to seat and I did. Zach sat directly opposite me and Zane sat beside me. Krystal was next to Adrian and Liam next to Adrian.

 

My fingers fiddled together as the 6 of us sat together on a round table in silence. This wasn’t going well at all, Liam keeps shooting daggers my way with clenched teeth. A bartender walks up to me with a tray of champagne in his hands. I grabbed one from him and muttered thanks.

 

“You could have just poured yourself one” Liam said to me referring to the bottle of champagne on the table before me. 

I ignored him and took a sip. Zane got up from his seat and Zach did too.

It’s obvious they are switching positions…

 

In less than a minute, Zach was already sitting by my right side.

 

Kingsley POV

Our car pulled away the event and every one of us stepped out of the car walking in. Greg isn’t here with us; he deliberately chose not to come. Kevin and I are the one in charge with other of our men. The party is a masked party so we walked in with a mask on our face.

 

“Don’t forget the plan; we need to get the female doctor to come with us. Zach definitely has her around him” Kevin said.

“Stick to the plan, I heard there should be no violence here because there are other Mafia groups in this building. We wouldn’t want to create a scene” I added 

“We will, only when necessary” Kevin replied with a wink then walks away. What else! He is always brutal and blood thirsty.

 I made my way in to get myself a seat and a drink, the atmosphere is really cool to start a fight. Its better it remains this way.

Kevin walks to me with a glass of wine in his hand “If you don’t want to cause a scene, why don’t you be the one to get the doctor because I can’t do that.” He replied and I scoff

“Why can’t you?” I smirked

“You don’t expect me to seduce her, I don’t know how to flirt with women handsome” he replied as he swirls around the glass in his hands

“But you are flirting with me” I replied with a low scoff

“Yes I am, that is Zach over there. Do you see that table?” he asks as he turned his head to a direction. I trailed his sight and saw the seat he was referring to.

“They are 6 on the table, I can see two females there, and what would two females be doing there with them?” I scoffed

“One of them has to be the Doctor, so go make a move as soon as she gets up” Kevin replied and stood up and leaned forward to me to whisper in my ears.

“You are charming, Just use it on hers but not too much” he whispers and pulls away with a side smile. I chuckle then leaned over to him “Tell me, you’re gay aren’t you?” I ask him with a side smile. Kevin chuckled and looks at my lips, I pulled away immediately with a low laugh. “Dude since when?” 

“Since I…..why don’t you go play on her and come back, baby” he smirked and I laughed lowly as I stood up from my seat.

 

“Later, Amigo” I smiled and adjusted my suit. I made my way to the bar stand to hang around while I wait for the doctor to probably get up.

 

Madison POV

“He’s overprotective” Adrian whispered beside me and I chuckle lowly. I took another sip of champagne and suddenly my breathing quicken when Zach rubbed his hands on my bare thigh. The dress I wore has a slit by the lap.

He rubbed his large hands on my bare thigh up and down and I inhaled lowly, “Are you alright?” he ask me and I scoffed.

“Yes I am, what do you think you are doing?” I ask him

“You started this darling” he whispers in my ear. His breath against my neck sent shivers down my spine. I felt Goosebumps immediately. Suddenly, Liam dramatically gets up and leaves the table.

“What’s with him?” I mutter. I stylishly looked at Krystal and saw she was having good time with Adrian, few seconds later he turns away from her while she revealed her teeth with a beautiful smile on her face.

He turned to Zach and gestured him to look elsewhere, “That’s your dad on the pulpit” he said and Zach rolled his eyes.

“I’ll be back” he whispers and stood up to leave with some of his men. I carved my brows and Zane speaks up “its okay, his dad is about to give a speech, he needs to stand next to him” he said

“Okay, I’ll go check up on Liam” I smiled as I got up from my seat to leave.

 

Kingsley POV

My instinct told me the lady beside Zach is the Doctor, their intimacy is clear. The way he kept leaning towards her and whispering in her ears. Zach dad mounts on the pulpit and he stood up to leave. Just a few seconds later, she got up also without any of Zach’s men following her.

 

Time to make a move…

 

I start walking towards her from behind, her blonde hair kept bouncing on her shoulder and I turn to the table she left to look at the other lady on the table. I couldn’t take look of her face since she had a mask on. Her smile reminds me of Krystal, she smiles just like her. She made an attempt to pull her brown hair behind her ears but one of Zach’s men did that before she could.

 

And she is blushing!

Why is she looking familiar to me, she looks so much like Krystal. The smile, the way she laughs and the way she blushed.

 

What if it’s actually Krystal?

I took out my phone and placed a call through Krystal. 

 

The phone rang several times but no answer. “Just get over Krystal” I said to myself and turned back at the Doctor to see her standing with one of Zach’s men. I never knew Zach would date a woman, she looks extra elegant in her dress, around her wrist was a diamond bracelet and even her shoes are looking expensive. I see, maybe that’s also why Greg wants her, she looks hot!

She looks like she is having a fight with the man before her. He took off his mask immediately, that’s Liam, one of Zach’s men. The doctor is also about to take hers off until a man walks past me, another did and yet another.

 

“F*ck!” I cussed beneath my breath

I tilt my head to take a look at them but they were no longer there.
