14. Operation

Adrian approached Nadine who was leaning her head on the chair.

"You can go home now."

Nadine straightened up and found Adrian already standing in front of her. She didn't hear what Adrian said at all.

"Huh?"

Adrian looked impatient to repeat his words.

"You can go home now!"

His voice rose when he saw Nadine's blank face. Making Benjamin turn his head in their direction and tell him not to make a noise.

"Ssshh...."

Adrian sighed and looked back at Nadine, who was still stunned.

"Home? I asked my father to tell Jim to go home when he finished dropping us off."

Adrian then took out his cell phone and was ready to call Henry.

"There's no need to kick me out like that. I decided to wait until Marie's surgery is over and see her doctor."

Nadine immediately explained why she didn't want to go home. Hearing Nadine's answer, Adrian looked annoyed.

"Doctor?"

Benjamin, who heard the doctor's words, then went to go to both of them.

"Miss Nadine? Why do you need to see my mother's doctor?"
