XXIII. More About Babies
It had been one whole month since the paparazzi incident, since then Jason had become overbearing, he had succeeded in locking her inside the house throughout the entire month, she hadn't seen outside the estate in a month, but then again she wasn't totally sure that she wanted to see the paparazzi.
She had no intentions of meeting them as she might actually punch one in the nose because of all the pent up anger she had in her. When Rory had said that the paps would forget about her, she hadn't believed her friend, Rhea was not right not to because Rory was wrong, Rhea seemed to intrigue them as she didn't show her face in public.
They had dug into her so much that they had found out about her family and even her friendship with Aurora. Though they had found out that she was rich, that didn't stop them from calling her a gold digger, truth be told Rhea had gotten tired of seeing people that didn't even know her, judge her.

"Leah didn't do anything, it was because she didn't do anything that is why we are in this situation in the first place," Rhea's father said, his voice was low and he was sounding a lot more calm."What do you mean?" Rhea asked, her father's tone had changed and it was becoming obvious that there was something that she didn't know, it seemed that everyone knew something that she didn't know, her brothers were looking surprisingly in spite of the argument."Let's sit down," Rhea's father said, his voice softer, a look of guilt on his face, Rhea's heart was thumping strongly against her rib cage, her hands becoming sweaty. Rhea had absolutely no idea what was going on in her father's head, but she was sure that it could not be good.She sat slowly down on the couch, back on the same spot that she had stood up from as a result of the argument, her father sat across from her and gestured for Leah to come over.

"I need you to make me forget," Rhea said to Jason, her voice hoarse from all the crying she had done, she had no idea how long she had been crying, but she wanted to forget, no she needed to forget and she was pretty sure that Jason was the only entity that could help her with that.Jason looked at her with an unsure look on his face, she couldn't wait for him to make the first move and so like the first time they met, she dived in for kiss, Jason didn't seem to need more cajoling than that, as he kissed her back with equal fervour, biting and sucking on her bottom lips, they were both lying on the bed and so she put one of her legs over his and started grinding on him, desperate for some kind of friction, Jason just chuckled against her lips at her enthusiasm."Patience love," he said before latching his mouth on the spot that her neck joined to her shoulders, she moaned loudly because of the absolute pleasure she felt.

Rhea woke up without the feeling of warmth around her, she moved to Jason's side of the bed, moving her arms on the bed, hoping to feel the warm body that she had gone to bed with. When it became increasingly obvious that he wasn't there, she opened her eyes, rubbing her fists on her eyes, as though to remove sleep from her heavy eyes.Her chest was burning, a tell tale of heartburn, another glorious thing that came with the pregnancy, she sat up with a groan opening her eyes slowly, while cracking her neck, she felt so sore, and in so many places."Jason!" She cried out, when he didn't answer she assumed that he had gone downstairs for breakfast, after all the sun was already out, using all of her energy, she stood up and made her way out of the room and downstairs, shouting Jason's name as she did.I can't believe he left me alone to eat, she thought to herself."You!, where is my husband?" Jason groaned as he posed for yet again another picture, the model on his arm was not so discretely rubbing her hard nipples on his arm, it was clear that she wanted more than a picture with him, usually Jason would love that type of attention, but at that moment, he was feeling distracted and guilty.It had been a total of 2months and 3weeks since he saw Rhea, since he heard her voice, since he kissed his little girl goodnight. "I think my water broke," Rhea told Rory as she felt wetness seep from down her legs and wet the chair they were seated on, at first she thought that it was pee, but then she realised that it wasn't."What, oh my God, let me call Jay," Rory said standing up from the chair, Rhea had no intentions of talking to Jason as she was still very much mad at him, though it had been a week since he returned from his long travel and he had been trying to get on her good side since."Why, he is the father of your child and Nate is not around," Rory reasoned, Rhea was about to refute her when a strong contraction wracked through her being and she let out a scream.Rory started screaming for her driver and looking for the delivery bag as fast as she could with her own pregnant belly. Rhea couldn't believe she was actually going to have a child in a matter of hours, that she was going to push a whole human out of her vagina.

"Is Will asleep?" Rhea asked Rory, referring to her new born son as she wheeled herself into her hospital room, both her and Rory had both their babies three days ago and they had requested to be put in the same room, the hospital management had obliged them and Rhea was now sharing an hospital room with her bestie."He is out cold," Rory said, they had both become stronger and they were due to be discharged anytime soon.Rhea stood up from the chair and went to check on both their babies, both Theo and Will, they were both in different cots but the cots were close to each other.Rhea's own son's eyes were closed, he looked so angelic when he was asleep, Rhea almost didn't believe he was the same baby when he was awake and crying.God, the baby could cry."Our kids are totally gonna be best friends," Rory said as they looked at both their babies lying next to each other.

The sound of a shrill cry startled Rhea up from sleep, she let out a tired groan, she had just managed to get a bit of shut-eye.She managed to raise Jason's hand off her waist and stood up from the bed."Urggh, why won't this baby just sleep?" As Rhea and Jason entered into the beautified hall, it seemed like all eyes were on them, they had basically been assaulted by the paps on their way in, the flash of light momentarily blinding Rhea's vision.They threw several questions concerning Theo their way, it was the first time he was actually going out in public and they were basically like wolves, hungry for information.Is this your son?What is his name?All those questions were what the paparazzi threw their way, Rhea just pushed Theo's head to her chest, she didn't want them to have a picture of her baby, Theo was something that was hers, well hers and Jason's but she didn't want them to have him.Jason shielding them along side the body guards until they were inside the party, Rhea heaved a sigh as she entered the beautified hall, not even aware of the fact that all attention had turned to them.
