Kriss was losing his forbearance by the passing time, things were slipping out of his grasp and he was impotent to maintain his posture.

“What should we do now? How are we going to find number 3?” Cassandra asked with a shrug when they were at the courtyard.

“We need to keep a keen eye on him. He had concealed his identity enough.” Kriss’s strict voice came, earning a nervous glance from them.

His rage was unfathomable for them to perceive, to find the most collected man in a state of pinch.

“I can’t believe we had a traitor right under our nose and we couldn’t know.” He growled, curling his hands in a fist.

They both took a step back instinctively, feeling the ire emitting from him and it emerged when he punched the wall nearby.

“Dammit!”

Growling, he imprinted a crack on the wall, fumes radiating from his aura as the rage blinded him.

“His Highness, please, calm down.”

They tried to make him understand but to no avail.
