CHAPTER 27 – Damn that Wine!
“What are you doing here?” Celine asked with widened eyes.
She looked around expecting to see Tiff.
She relaxed when she realized he came alone.
Daniel sat beside her and pulled his chair closer to hers.
He made sure his knees could touch hers with any slight movement.
Celine could feel her cheeks warming up.
“My secretary is having a date and forgot to arrange for mine” he casually extended his left arm over her chair while browsing the menu.
Aaron did not fail to notice his possessive action.
“We’re not”

Both Celine and Aaron objected.
Daniel could only smirk.
“How’s Tiff?” Aaron wanted to divert the topic.
Daniel looked at Celine who was enjoying her meal pretending not to be interested.
“She seems okay. Give her a week. We’ll see if she can stay or not” he said casually.
