Possessiveness and Hurt

Eliana POV

My hands stung from the slap and I felt horror filled me up. What had I done? I just slapped Alpha Fermion, the ruthless wolf that had many alpha's trembling in fear at his name.

I staggered backwards as the reality of what I did came crashing down on me and he did what I never thought any alpha would do. He fell to his knees before me and bowed his head.

“I am sorry for calling you a coward. You're much more than that..” he trailed off with a sigh and I just stared at him with confusion and surprise.

“You–”

“Come back to the pack with me, please” he cut me off and after a minute, I gave a small nod and he instantly stood up before giving me an undescribable look but then shook it off and began back for the pack with me tagging behind.

I still couldn't accept that he wouldn't reject me but he seemed genuinely good or concerned or was it all a trick? Was he trying to get me to lower my guards so he could also kill me or destroy me?.

I felt my mind running through different simulations that had me questioning my sanity.

“We own two pack houses, I cannot take you to my home because I'm aware you won't want that so I'll give you your space.” He smiled a bit at me as we walked, I felt something on my feet and stopped to check.

Only to discover that I had cut the soles of my feet and I sighed before I went to keep going but then he came to me and picked me up.

I yelped and tried to struggle down but he held me firmly anf I felt a feeling begin to rise within me but the sparks from our contact had me sighing and relaxing into his embrace.

“Stay” he whispered, his voice sending vibrations through my body and I squeaked which had him smiling before we continued and soon we stepped out of the treelines and was ambushed by three different people.

I only recognized one, Grayson and I sent him a small wave which he returned but with a big smile.

The other man and woman didn't look recognizable to me and I didn't make any effort to speak to them but one of them, the woman rushed up to Fermion and grabbed his arm.

My eyes zeroed in on her hands and a sharp growl left my lips as anger flooded into my system and she instantly took her hands off.

I felt shocked at myself for letting out such a sound but my eyes squinted at her as she took off her hands and she took three steps back when she saw me still staring at her.

“I'm Myra, Fermion’s little sister” she introduced and I felt my whole face redden up before I stuck it into Fermion's chest with embarrassment.

I had growled so possessively at his sister! Why did I even do so and what was happening to me? I was still wary of him and swore to myself that I wouldn't be optimistic ever again.

I had done so once and see what that got me, only pain and sorrow.

A deep laughter left his lips and I pushed at him to let me down which he did, slowly and gently.

“You'll need to stay at the clinic for some days at least. So we can get you back into shape” Healer Grayson informed me with a smile and I nodded, giving Fermion a look and he nodded before I went with Grayson.

I suddenly recalled something and stopped before turning around to face him once again.

“You can be free with me, little mate” he said with furrowed brows and I gave it a thought for a small minute before I nodded and gathered up the courage to speak up.

“I want to be trained, I want to be stronger “ I informed, my voice clear with a tiny waver at the end as memories flashed behind my eyes.

If I had been remotely strong when that happened years ago, I could have had my family right here with me now. But I was weak and now I knew I could make up for my lack of a wolf by training hard.

“What did you say?” Fermion asked and I took a step backwards with fear crashing into me and he hissed lowly with a glare at his little sister.

“I'll inform the trainer to expect you” Myra informed with a smirk and I nodded, grateful for her help.

“Absolutely n– of course.” Aloha Fermion said, cutting off his words with a look at Grayson. I could feel something passed between them but I could care less, I had achieved what I wanted and soon I would begin my training.

“Thank you” I appreciated, with a small smile before leaving with Grayson as hushed voice began to echo from behind as we left.

“What is your name?” He called out and I glanced backwards to stare at him with confusion, already missing his touch even though I would never admit that to his face.

“My name?” I echoed the question and he nodded, shouldn't be already know that if he did his research?

“You didn't research on me?” I had to ask to be sure of it, it was normal protocol to make reseacrhes on new arrivals to the pack before any other thing. So I was surprised he was asking me my name.

“Your words is all that I need right now” he shrugged and I felt my eyes water, it's been so long since someone wanted to listen to me. So long since I ever had something like this and it made me feel warm inside.

“I'm Eliana Raven Osiris” I said and his breath stiffened before she growled out lowly.

“Osiris?” He asked and I instantly went towards the safe place I knew other than him.

Behind Grayson. His eyes flashed with hurt before he turned and marched away.
