I've watched the Iron Man movie in 2008 with my cousins for the first time visiting South Korea. For some reason, Kurai flying like Ironman serves as inspiration on how he can use his fire. Also since, Kurai is a fire user now. His ability to conjure fire is different than the traditional version of how people who manipulate chi conjure fire.
Shizuka Fudo and Furukawa Yukito are working together. How funny.Fudo spoke. "Nine years ago, there was an accident in your clan's winter home. An avalanche that nearly killed you, unlocked your potential, and even killed someone. However, after that day, you stop pretending that she exists and even lied about how she died." Fudo said, his tone escalated into anger.Kazuha was shocked. "How did you know that?""Dying of grief without showing her body isn't a good cover up so we investigated and thought that her death is quite strange. She was killed by your sonic scream." Yukito said.Kazuha was horrified at first but her expression relaxed."She was my fiancee, Shiratori Kazuha. Yet, you killed her. Why? Was it an accident or murder?" Fudo said.Kazuha is at a lost for words. This was a secret that only she, her father, Bai Boqin, her former guard and to a lesser extent, Konomi, Noriko and Toya knows. But she needs to buy time, no matter how small."She hated you, Fudo. Forced into a
Cai Kang is walking through a thick forest with sunlight shining through the leaves. She is feeling serene without anything to distract her thoughts. She continued walking until she saw a large cave with a ridiculously thick hemp rope used in Shinto shrines that block the entrance. “What the heck is this?” She said, wanting to touch the rope.“Don’t touch it or else it will sense you.”She turns toward the sound to see someone there. A woman was walking towards her. She looks like she is in her mid forties. She has deep blue eyes and unnaturally long wavy hair of the same color that drags on the floor. She’s not pretty but she gives off an assuring aura and a playful smile. “What is this place?” Cai Kang is looking around.“Do you not recognize your own subconscious? Are you not aware that you’ve been here before?”She blinked and looked around in confusion and noticed her breasts. It’s clearly daytime and yet... Seeing that it is not possible, she quickly realizes she’s in a dream.
Cai Kang thought of an earlier conversation he had with Ryosuke during their preparations for Kyushu. Cai Kang doesn't feel cold as easily so he will be fine without wearing any thick winter clothing.“Are you sure about going on this trip? If there is a yeouiju there then you’ll lose your curse. You don’t even hate it like Kurai did. I don’t even know if you will be given a choice to choose your gender when that happens.” Fukuna said.“I have given a lot of thought to this. I can’t let my lack of ability prevent me from failing again. I don’t think I can handle it.” He said.Honestly, the thought of being permanently stuck in one gender doesn't bother him anymore. Whether or not, he will end up being a girl or a boy is no concern. He made his decision and will stick by it. Power. That is what he needs to protect everyone. If that requires sacrifice then so be it. A lot of him scares him these days. Afraid of the unknown or the future since he was warned that there would be more troubl
Cai Kang is feeling the energy of the full moon and absorbing it into her very being. It feels serene and cool while Yang energy feels warm and exhilarating. To truly feel this from Yin energy is one of the things she enjoys as a girl. She grew up learning martial arts and sometimes doesn't even sleep just to cultivate her chi and make sure she can be more proficient in using the energy she possesses as well as those around her. Cai Kang may not have developed a reputation like Ryosuke and Kazuha but she prides that she is much stronger than people had believed. She felt a connection to this village. This energy is familiar and makes her feel welcome. It is euphoric. Why is it so peaceful?"Guys, wake up."Cai Kang opened her eyes and was about to tell Kazuha off but she was pale on the face. The others woke up."I found out something you guys need to know." Kazuha puts the notes on the table. "Before, Hirate-kun came here. He did research on the history of the village as well as surro
“Luminescent will be there in a few hours. They need reasons to investigate after all. You need to hold on until that time.” Wencheng said through the compact mirror.“I hate the government, sometimes.” Kazuha mutters. “Whatever you do, you can't give them a chance to warn the village. The moment that happens then things will get ugly. One thing we have to our advantage is that we have technique and fighting experience.” She said. “We'll hold on as long as we can so do what you have to do.”“According to what Cai Kang said, none of these people are human anymore. We can’t fight them all at once without killing them.” Fukumi said.“They already got piles of evidence against them as well as witnesses once they come to Kyushu. It won't be long.” Wencheng said.“There is no body of water that is big enough to take all four of us so it must only be Cai Kang who goes. There's a well nearby filled with enough water for one person. We just need to hold on until the others are safe then we can
Meanwhile back in the village, the villagers all look rabid and their sclera is yellow. They even have fangs like they are out for blood. None of these people are human anymore. They threw away their humanity. After Cai Kang disappeared, the other three were questioned by the villagers but upon trying to take them away, they resisted heavily. It is already a miracle that the three are getting by they all struggled to fight them off. First, Kazuha had already used her suggestion technique to get them to sleep. It worked for some but not for the entire village. The children and a few of the elderly are all out of commission but most of the adults are partially resistant to the charm as it has weakened them a bit instead of putting them to sleep. In addition, while fighting them, she was hit on her neck which not only threw off her breath but also injured her voice box so she couldn't even speak without feeling pain much less properly use the technique. They put up a good fight as they fo
It has been three days since Kyushu. Cai Kang is dressed in his Mao suit with a golden dragon embroidered on the entire top. This outfit was prepared in advance by the old man. As old-fashioned as he could be, he at least has some good taste. Noriko is currently brushing his hair as she insists on doing it herself. Cai Kang rarely gets to dress like this so he had some help from the twins when it comes to formal wear and hosting the Omiai itself."I get that you like to dress me up but why are you my guide through the Omiai and not any of your sisters?" He complained. The twins are cunning and now he feels like this whole thing will go wrong.Noriko is still braiding his hair and her mouth is full of pins. "Oh, shut up. Kazu-nee did the preparations but for some reason she had to get herself injured and now I have to take care of it. Besides, I contributed to the list too." She mumbled.Cai Kang stopped the urge to groan or snap back at her. Kazuha and Ryosuke are recovering at the Shi
In Cai Kang's room, there is a large bowl of water with the locket at the bottom where Cai Kang is staring at. However, instead of his reflection, he gets a mirage of his father. "WHAT?!" He yells in genuine shock. His expression matches his voice. He loves to overreact to everything.Cai Kang had the urge to cover his ears, expecting this from him. "Yeah, It's been almost a week now." Cai Kang said."Why did you have to tell me this now? This is wonderful news although I am disappointed it isn't useful in offense or defense but useful nonetheless." Changming said.Brutally honest as always, you old bastard. "Because I know you'll enjoy it." Cai Kang said with a sarcastic tone.Changming ignored his words. "I had recently bought a new piece of land here in Shenmi for cheap. It's a tropical island in the southern China Sea."That genuinely surprised Cai Kang. The southern Chinese isles are where most of the Shenmi Chinese nobility have their vacations except a few small tribes who migr
