Chapter 5

After five minutes of proposing to Mila, Anna loaded the social networks with countless pictures and videos.

She photoed many cute pictures and did an incredible assignment, sending them to different mass companies and bloggers. And the widespread hashtag was #Dimitri's fiance.

She constructed many sweet lines of love on Dimitri’s behalf and made people judge he truly loved his fiance.

But who was the lady? No one knew, and that was the task everyone had given themselves, wondering if Mila was a daughter of a billionaire.

After doing that, Dimitri sent Nidia her parcel of videos and pictures. Putting in the line, “Thank you for this extraordinary gift; finding me an immaculate lady. A soulmate and all. She is my long-time lost love, and you bring her back into my life. For the first time since I have known you as an intruder, I can boldly say, thank you for this. Mila is my joy and I will die happily being with her.”

Nidia quickly walked out of the restroom when her phone rang. She leaned toward her phone on the bed, unlocked it, and saw three missed calls from Dimitri.

She cracked up. “I know you will call to beg me,”

“You are no match for me…”

Before she could complete her statement, a message from Dimitri popped into her phone. She thumped it and seeing the images he sent, she couldn’t believe what she saw. She patted her eyes, considering her gaze was a blur.

She swapped to the left and the right and looked at every picture. She played the video, but couldn’t watch it till the end. She grinned her teeth and threw the phone on the bed. “Fuck him!”

“What is he doing?” She wondered.

She stood up and fenced her waist with her left hand, tapping her forehead lightly with her right hand, reviewing what to do.

She walked back to the bed and picked up her phone. She dialed Mr. Leo’s number but wasn’t reachable. She switched on her data to send a W******p message and she received ten reports from diverse platforms, broadcasting Dimitri’s submission to Mila.

She hated seeing him in the limelight of people, and she threw her phone on the bed again.

“I need to do something. Something soon. I have to create another plan.”

She walked to the door and paused as she laid her hand on the door handle.

“Wait, what is this guy planning?” She couldn't judge everything.

←LATER IN THE NIGHT→

It was eight pm, and Mila was fatigued. It was the first time she had been going through those kinds of stresses. They took pictures and went to the beach.

During the entire time she was with Dimitri, she forgot all the miseries she had passed through, and let her worries about Dimitri’s emotions for her out of her head.

She enjoyed every jiffy here and there, and Anna’s company was sweet. It was the first time she was coming upon her, but she felt intimate and related because of how she functioned with her. And she saw her as a friend.

The only thing she couldn’t get along with was the attention that was centered on her. But with time, she guessed she would be alright.

Music was playing in the background while Dimitri and Mila were sitting in a corner, and Anna was on the other side.

“Dimitri…” Mila called with a low voice and hung back. She felt like what she wanted to say was none of her business.

Dimitri darted at her. “What’s it?”

“Don’t you think we should go home now?” She appealed, looking at Anna’s side.

He traced her gaze and quickly figured out she was worried about Anna, but couldn’t say it literally.

He messaged Anna, and the peep of his message made her open her eyes wide.

Anna had catnapped off already. She quickly wiped her face with her hands and shook her head. She stood up and walked to him.

“Please, take a cab home,” he begged. He felt like taking her home because she stayed outside late because of him.

“I have to drop my fiance at home.” He worded.

“Okay, sir.” She curled her head and turned to leave. But Mila’s voice ceased her. “You can take her home. I will sort myself out.”

“No, it’s fine ma,” Anna smiled. “Thanks for your worriedness.”

“Okay. Be safe. Byeeee.” Mila beamed, waving her hand.

Anna turned to her and swerved her head. “Bye, ma.”

←TEN MINUTES LATER→

Mila wasn’t feeling sleepy and didn’t look like she would be soon. She was used to sleeping late at night, either administering punishment or doing house labor. But she was exhausted, and couldn’t say it because Dimitri hadn’t said anything. She didn’t want to act uncommonly as it was her first date and she didn’t know how things worked. If it was courteous to say she wanted to go home.

Dimitri was feeling sleepy but couldn’t say anything because Mila said nothing. And he didn’t want her to feel clumsy.

“Tell her to let you drop her at home…” Anna shipped a message to Dimitri.

Dimitri was a hot guy with every trait that wrinkled at ladies, and his bodily qualities cast spells that made every lady found him attractive no matter what he did. But he wasn't the class that found pleasure in hanging out with ladies, and he was direly interacting with them. But with Anna's help, he should be able to cope. She got him covered.

He lingered for five minutes before heeding the advice.

“Beauty, it’s getting late, won’t your people be worried? Let me drop you home.” His vocalist was lovely.

“Okay.” Mila smiled and instantly stood up. She had been expecting him to say that.

She wanted to carry the bag, but he cared for her with it. He walked faster to the car before her and opened the door.

“Enter, dear.” He curved his head. She entered the car, and he closed the door.

He entered the car and supported her to tighten the seat belt.

“Thank you.” Mila admired.

He smiled and said, “Anything for the person I value.”

He has learned a lot from Anna and, with the help of G****e, he played the role of an ideal gentleman greatly. His search history for the past hours was, “how to be a gentleman to your lady?”

“Should I play music?” He sought permission, and she jerked her head, giving the go-ahead.

He played music. “Do you like this one?” He raised a question.

“Yes.” She appreciated.

“Is the volume okay with you?” He was worried.

She smiled, jolting her head. “Yes.”

He sighed and took her hand in his hand. She lifted her head and unintentionally examined straight into his eyes. She quickly glanced away, feeling shy.

He held her head up, holding her cheek, and caused her to gaze straight into his eyes.

“Whenever you are with me, speak out of your mind. Be unrestricted. I am not a zombie, but your fiance. Don't be shy when you are with me. Tell me whatever you desire, and I will do it for you.” He assured.

She smiled and quickly seized her eyes off him. She was feeling comfortless.

He smiled because he assumed she was going down for him already.

“I will start the engine now,” he reported, asking, “can I?”

“Yes.” She pushed herself to speak since he told her to be free.

He turned on the engine. “Can I drive?”

“Why are you asking all these?” She let out her worry.

“Because I won’t mind serving you till my last breath.” His seducing phrase filled her ear.

“You can drive.”

“Now, I will do as you command.” He started driving.

<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>

The club was a little far from Mila’s area, and he drove for two hours before getting home.

Before she got out of the car, Vera and Anya had come out to embrace her, as their mother instructed.

“Welcome home…” Vera quickly opened the door, smiling.

Anya wasn’t feeling pleased to see Mila, primarily when she was with the man she loved. She stood on the stairs and scanned from afar.

Dimitri got down from the car and walked to the other side to hug Mila.

“Take this.” He pointed a new phone at her.

“But…” Mila wanted to talk. She had a phone with her. Anya’s phone was given to her because of an emergency.

“I know. I am giving you because you deserve pricey things.” He shut her up, and she smiled.

“Bye…” they waved their hands at each other and Mila eyed him drove off.

After Dimitri left, Anya jogged to her, fabricating a smile. “Welcome, welcome. How’s your outing?”

“How do you expect it to be?” Mila raised her eyebrows.

Anya withered her face but didn’t let Mila notice till she washed it away with a smile.

“Did he treat you well?” She investigated, and Mila ceased walking.

“I know he would behave towards you badly, but you have to endure,” Anya pushed to shame Mila with her words. “You should compute that he doesn’t want you. They are forcing you on him.”

Mila didn't want to be generous or take things easy with any of them anymore. She turned to Anya. “I am sure your ear and eye are still functioning. If you don’t witness, don’t you listen?”

“Hear what?” Anya asked.

“The news,” she responded.

“Oh, I forgot they gave me your can in the morning, so you won’t figure out what’s trending today.”

“Which can?” Anya was confused.

“Your phone, of course.” She smiled and flung the phone at Anya’s chest.

Anya quickly grabbed the phone before it fell.

Mila ambled into the house, while Anya was examining the quick changes in her from behind.

‘No matter how you pretend to be strong, I will push you to bear what you have just done…’ Anya vowed within her mind.

‘From now on, I will not lose to anyone again. I will make all of you pay. I will unlove my love, uncare my care and even unwow my wows from anyone that doesn’t know its value…’ Mila thought.

She moved into the house and didn’t bother to greet her uncle and Anita or retort to the tons of questions they threw at her.

She walked into her room and freshened up.

She came out of the bedroom and settled on the phone Dimitri had bought for her.

She switched it on and smiled at the wallpaper. It was a snapshot of when Dimitri kneeled in front of her.

A note from Dimitri came in. “I just can't stop thinking about you. You make my world so beautiful. You are flawless, just the way you are…”

Then another one. “The fun and joyful times that we shared never failed to fetch a smile on my face. Hope you are doing well…”

Another one. “You know what? I don’t feel sleepy at all, because you are coming into my eyesight as I close my eyes…”

The message kept documenting more and more, and she couldn’t read everything or reply till she slept off.

Her imagination tonight will be different…
