Damon’s POV

Damon Montague sat across from Harrison Kendrick, his eyes locked on the older man's face. Kendrick's expression was calm, but Damon could see the tension in his shoulders.

"So, Mr. Kendrick," Damon said, his voice smooth as silk. "I understand you're looking to make a deal."

Kendrick nodded, his eyes narrowing. "I am. I want to expand my business, and I need your help to do it."

Damon leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together. "I'm listening."

Kendrick launched into a detailed explanation of his plans, but Damon's mind began to wander. He was thinking about the potential profits, the ways he could manipulate Kendrick to get what he wanted.

Just as Kendrick finished his pitch, Damon's phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen, his expression darkening.

"Excuse me for a moment," he said, standing up.

He stepped out of the room, his right-hand man, Marcus, waiting for him in the hallway.

"What is it?" Damon asked, his voice low and even.

"It's the package, sir," Marcus replied, his expression grim. "It's been stolen."

Damon's face turned red with rage. "What do you mean it's been stolen?" he thundered.

Marcus took a step back, his eyes darting nervously around the hallway. "I'm sorry, sir. I don't know what happened. One minute it was there, the next it was gone."

Damon's anger was palpable. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest, his fists clenched at his sides.

"Find out who did it," he growled, his voice barely above a whisper. "And deal with them."

Marcus nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, sir. Right away."

Damon took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He couldn't let his emotions get the better of him, not now.

He stepped back into the meeting room, his expression smooth and composed.

"Where were we?" he asked, his voice dripping with charm.

Kendrick looked at him warily, but Damon just smiled.

"I believe we were discussing the terms of our deal," he said, his eyes glinting with amusement.

Kendrick nodded, his expression cautious. "Yes, that's right."

Damon leaned forward, his eyes locked on Kendrick's face. "I want a piece of your company," he said, his voice firm. "And I want it now."

Kendrick hesitated, clearly taken aback by Damon's demands. But Damon just smiled, his eyes glinting with ruthlessness.

"I'm afraid it's not negotiable, Mr. Kendrick," he said. "Either you agree to my terms, or we walk away."

Kendrick's face paled, but he nodded, his voice barely above a whisper. "Okay, deal."

Damon smiled, feeling a rush of triumph. He stood up, his eyes never leaving Kendrick's face.

"Welcome to the team, Mr. Kendrick," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm sure we'll have a very... profitable relationship."

As Kendrick nodded, Damon's mind turned to his next move. He had a business to run, and he couldn't let his personal interests get in the way.

He left Kendrick's office, his anger still simmering beneath the surface. He had Marcus drive him to his company, his mind racing with thoughts of revenge.

When they arrived, Damon stormed out of the car and into the building, his presence commanding attention. His employees scurried to get out of his way as he made his way to the security room.

"Show me the footage," he growled, his eyes blazing with fury.

The security guard nodded, his hands shaking as he worked the controls. The footage showed two men, dressed in black, sneaking into the warehouse and making off with the package.

Damon's face turned red with rage. "Find them," he snarled, his voice dripping with venom. "I want them brought to me alive."

It didn't take long for Damon's men to track down the thieves. They were brought to him, trembling with fear.

Damon's eyes narrowed as he looked at them. "You stole from me," he said, his voice cold and deadly. "You'll pay for that."

Without another word, Damon's men dragged the thieves away, their screams echoing through the warehouse.

Damon watched them go, his expression unyielding. He had a reputation for being ruthless, and he intended to keep it that way.

When it was all over, Damon returned to his car, his mind at ease. He had taken care of the problem, and he could now focus on more important things.

He spent the rest of the day in meetings, finalizing the details of his deal with Kendrick. He was ruthless and efficient, leaving no stone unturned.

As the sun began to set, Damon decided to take a break. He had heard about a new nightclub that was opening downtown, and he thought it might be the perfect place to unwind.

He arrived at the club just as the sun was dipping below the horizon. The music was pulsating, and the crowd was already starting to grow.

Damon made his way to the bar, his eyes scanning the room. He was looking for someone, but he didn't know who.

As he ordered a drink, Damon's mind began to wander. He thought about his business, about the empire he was building.

He spent the rest of the night at the club, drinking and laughing with the other patrons. He was the king of the castle, and everyone knew it.

As the night wore on, Damon's thoughts turned to the future. He had big plans, and he was going to stop at nothing to achieve them.

The music pulsed on, the crowd growing more and more raucous. But Damon just smiled, his eyes glinting with ambition.

He was the one in control, and he was going to stay that way.

After some minutes of restless thinking, I finally came to a decision. My heart was heavy, but I knew what I had to do. I stood, smoothed down my clothes, and forced my legs to carry me through the endless corridors of Damon’s mansion. The place was so massive that I still wasn’t used to finding my way around, and it didn’t help that my nerves were practically eating me alive. After a few wrong turns, I finally located his home study. Before I even had the chance to knock, his voice came from inside, calm and commanding, as though he had sensed me lingering outside.“Come in.”I froze, suddenly unsure if this was the right choice, but backing out now wasn’t an option. Drawing a shaky breath, I pushed the door open and stepped inside.Damon looked up from behind his desk, his sharp eyes immediately finding me. For a moment, silence stretched between us until he broke it with a faint edge of impatience.“Did you come here just to stand there and say nothing?”My throat tightened, but

Raven looked at the man before her, wondering if he had lost his mind. “I know what you are thinking, and no, I’m not out of my mind. You are not going anywhere,” Damon told her. Raven wondered why this man wanted her to stay, wasn’t he supposed to be with his wife or something? Just because he had no ring on his finger didn’t mean he was not married. “If I don't leave, I will lose my job,, and I need, and I can’t afford to be jobless,” she told him. “We need to talk,” he said completely ignoring what she said. Damon walks to where she is and leads her to the couch and they both sit down. “What is your name?” Damon asked. “Raven,” she replied. “Last night was amazing and this morning was mind-blowing.” Damon pauses for a bit and what seems to be a smile appears on his face. Raven didn’t know how to reply to what Damon had asked her so she kept quiet. “I have a proposal for you,” Damon adds “I don’t do married man,” Raven quickly says Damon looks at Raven with a smirk on h

Ethan’s goal was to make sure he made his stepsister’s life a living hell and he seemed to be doing a good job at it. “Raven get me a cup of coffee”, Ethan said from the phone. Raven got the coffee for her stepbrother and she hurried to his office. She didn’t want him screaming at her she had heard enough for the day. “Ethan,” Raven called out, “here’s your coffee,” she said. “Put it over there he said.” Raven turned her heels to leave but before she reached the door Ethan called for her. “How does it feel? Raven ran out of the office building, not stopping until she was blocks away. She finally slowed down, gasping for air, and leaned against a lamp post. Tears streamed down her face as she tried to process what had just happened. Why did her father have to be so cruel? Why did he have to treat her like she was nothing? As she stood there, trying to catch her breath, her mind began to wander back to her childhood. She remembered the happy times, the times when her mother was still alive. Her mother had been a kind and gentle soul, with a heart full of love. She had always been there for Raven, supporting her and encouraging her to pursue her dreams. But after her mother's death, everything had changed. Her father had become colder, more distant. He had married Victoria, a woman who was more interested in his money than in being a good stepmother. Raven's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of her phone buzzing in her pocket. She pulled it out and saw a text from her best friend

  • Damon's Descent    Chapter 1: Bound by Duty

Raven Kendrick's heels clicked against the polished marble floor as she walked through the sound echoed off the walls, a steady beat that matched the rhythm of her racing heart. She hated coming to her father's office and the feeling of being trapped in this sterile, soulless environment. As she turned a corner, Raven caught sight of the reception desk, where her father's assistant, Mrs. Jenkins, sat typing away on her computer. Mrs. Jenkins looked up and smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Good morning, Raven," she said, her voice warm and friendly. Raven forced a smile onto her face, feeling like she was putting on a mask. "Good morning, Mrs. Jenkins," she replied, trying to sound cheerful. But as she walked past the reception desk and into the inner offices, Raven's smile faltered. She hated this place, hated the feeling of being under her father's thumb. She felt like a pawn in his game, a game she didn't even understand. Raven's father, Mr. Kendrick, was a powerful
