Chapter 17 Derek

DEREK POV:

I drove like a maniac when I received word that we were under attack. I shouldn't have let her go on her own. I was pissed at my dad for blaming me for what happened at the school. I was already blaming myself. Not only was she my responsibility but for some reason I had this pull to her that I couldn't shake. Alpha Thomas had instructed that my father and I keep an eye out on her at all times. Knowing she was in harm's way, made my wolf go crazy. We need to find her. We needed to protect her. I didn't understand this possessive feeling, I just knew I needed to follow it.

Pulling up to the pier it was complete chaos. Screams, fighting, and blood were everywhere. I abruptly stopped the car when I saw Quinn staggering towards the parking lot. Behind her fighting were Fred and three demons fighting.
