Chapter 1: Little Lamb?

It was sunset in the woods, and the once orange and pink sky was now clad in grey. the sun was nowhere to be found. it had just rained, and it smelled of wet earth.

Leaves crunched beneath his feet and puddles splashed as he took steps towards her. She lay on the cold, wet, ground in a pool of her own blood, her beautiful white dress stained red. Her face had lost it's usual glow and her lips were chapped and pale.

Reaching her, he picked her up bridal style, his midnight black hair dripping wet and his eyes glowing bright gold.

*Hazel's POV*

I groaned as I tried to block the light hitting my face, I could see red under my closed eyes. Frustrated, I slowly opened my eyes. it was so bright I thought I would go blind, my eyes needed time to adjust.

Getting used to the light, I looked around trying to figure my location out. I was in a spacious room with a white colored wall and black marble floor, the colors complimented each other. sun rays peeked through the glass windows which was as a result of the curtains being tied to the side, and I could see what looked like a garden on the other side. The room smelled feminine...wait... it smelled like my perfume.

The brown luxurious door creaked open as soon as its gold handle clicked, cutting off my thoughts. I turned around to see a lady walk in. She was dressed in cute yellow dress that made her look really young. her blonde hair was tied up into a bun and her feet were in sandals. She had cute big brown eyes, her nose was small and sharp and her pink lips were thin.

"good morning madam" she said, bowing her head. Madam? what was she talking about?

"sir has asked that I freshen you up and get you ready for breakfast"

Jeez! what the hell was happening?! first I find myself in some unknown room that smelled of my perfume, and now I'm called madam by a lady I've never met in my life. what the hell was going on?!

Deciding to put my thoughts aside, I let her prepare a bath for me where I sunk in my sore body, I really needed it. Laying in the bath I tried so hard to at least remember a thing... why can't I remember anything?

The lady had been there all the time, holding a bathrobe.

And then my curiosity got the best of me.

"Who is your sir? I asked, opening my eyes and raising my head to look at her.

I could see the confusion in her eyes as she stared at me.

"do you not remember sir, dear madam?

I was quiet. I bet she Could tell I knew nothing about this so called sir of hers.

sighing, she said

"Madam has lost her memories, it's no wonder she does not remember sir. Madam had an accident and had been in deep sleep for a year, and sir had always took care of her"

" Sir is so doting on her, waiting for her to wake up everyday " she said, finally smiling faintly.

What the f**k was this lady talking about?

Accident? sleep ? Year?

Okay, my mind was in a mess.

I found out her name was Yara, and she was twenty.

I was ready to get out of the bath. Sensing I was a bit uncomfortable, Yara turned away from me.

Phew! at least she understands body languages.

Getting out of the bath, I walked towards her, getting the bathrobe and wrapping up myself.

Going back to the room, Yara opened the closet doors... I was so speechless at what came into view. I was In awe.

Yeah, it was a normal closet for clothes, but it was more like a room. A huge room made only for clothes. I walked steadily, letting my eyes feed themselves on the view. There were different designer clothes, most by channel, Dior and Luis Vuitton. Clothes of different colors, and styles. lingeries, pajamas, even shoes. My jaw dropped. There was a whole boutique in this room. Gosh, how rich was this Sir?

Getting dressed, I wore a white oversized Dior T-shirt, and baggy pants, that was my style. Tying my hair up into a messy bun, I walked behind Yara as she took me to where she said was the dining room?

We walked through the narrow hallway, coming across many doors that looked the same. the floor was all black shiny marble, and the dark ceiling was so tall with little tiny lights hanging off of it... I bet they'd look like tiny stars at night. Getting to the end of the hallway, there was an Elevator waiting for us.

Wahhhhhh? An elevator in someone's house? He really must be rich.

What was he like? Where exactly was this place? did I really lose my memories? But I could still remember what my name was, right?

A Ding cut off my thoughts, we had arrived at the ground floor.

Stepping out of the elevator, I was greeted by the bright spacious room. The colors in this room were different... it was warm and cozy. a part of the room had dark blue Couches sitting beside a warm fireplace. There was a white furry Italian rug laying in the center. And to another section of the room I could see a large glass dining table...it could fit at least ten people.

There was a man sitting on the Master's seat, reading some papers seemingly not bothered by our presence.

"Sir" Yara called out with a bow, before walking away as per his command.

He finally looked up, staring deeply at me. I was speechless. He was... so breathtaking and for a moment I forgot to breathe. He was dressed all black, and his skin was fair, making him look even more breathtaking. his lips were a thin pink, and his nose was sharp. He looked beautiful, yet so masculine. Staring into his eyes, they were gold, such rare color... maybe he had contacts on?

Gosh, how could there be such a beautiful guy? I thought to myself.

Seemingly unable to comprehend the look in my eyes, his brow raised questioningly as if asking "what are you looking at?

My cheeks burned with embarrassment at my stupid thoughts as I fondled the hem of my dress.

"Sit" His deep masculine voice rang out, making me speechless once again.

As if hypnotised by his voice, I pulled out a chair where I sat absentmindedly.

The food was served by the maids in yellow uniforms. I could not get used to this, it didn't feel like me, it didn't feel like my life. was I really his wife? when did I get married?

I was so deep in thought I didn't realize he'd been staring at me all the while until he spoke.

"eat"

Jeez, why was he such a Monosyllabo? he'd only said two words since I got here.

Pushing my thoughts aside, I picked up my utensils and began to eat. The food was rather good, but I didn't have any appetite, so I ate little. No one said a word, the whole table was quiet as we ate. I'd sneak glances at him from time to time, I actually had lots of questions to ask.

"speak" He said, his utensils still clinking and clanking as he ate indifferently.

Speak? who was he talking to?

looking up from his plate, he repeated

"speak"

oh, so he was talking to me.

"Who are you? I asked staring deeply into his eyes

"Damien" he said, continuing to eat without sparing me a glance

"I'm your wife? I asked again, still looking at him

"No"

No?

"You're my little lamb" he added, raising his head to stare at me

I was momentarily dumbstruck. Little lamb?
