Knocked Out

“Is she okay?” Henry asked Draven as he drank his brown soup and stared at Xalia who was lying peacefully on the couch. She was in a deep sleep and didn't look like she was waking up anytime soon.

“I don't know.” Draven replied as he went through his phone.

“You shouldn't have knocked her out.” Henry shrugged and Draven rolled his eyes.

“She was being annoying and she kept on distracting me.”

“Then you could have knocked her out in a safer way.” Henry said and Draven scoffed.

“Right, by hitting her right?”

“She has been unconscious since last night and it is almost noon.”

“I saved your life, quit whining.” Draven replied and Henry chuckled, he gulped down his soup and groaned as he slowly stood up from the couch and headed into the dining room.
