Alaina felt something was off with Caleb, but she just couldn’t put her finger on it. He was giving her a chance to make things right, but there was something nagging at her, telling her something wasn’t right. But she pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind and tried to forget about them. She was just happy that Caleb was at least giving her a chance. He hadn’t forgiven her yet, that much she could see in his eyes, but he was letting her be there, letting her try.
