Abigail and Nicholas stepped of the plane in Los Angeles and got a car. She put the address that Alaina sent her into the GPS and headed to the house. She was glad that Alaina was getting Arianna out of Devils Lake but she wasn’t happy that Alaina was going back. But Alaina needed to handle this situation, and if Alaina couldn’t, she would. She won’t take any chances when it came to her sisters. She didn’t want Alaina to go back alone, and her and Nicholas had talked about him staying with Arianna while Abigail goes back with Alaina. North Dakota, 2009 Brown leaves covered the ground from past years. The leaves on the trees were green as spring turned into summer. Lost once again he wandered in the woods. His uncle told him not to wander far in fear this would happen. Again. Caleb tried to remember how long he had been walking. He had been thinking of his parents again and lost track of time, and he wasn’t watching where he was going either. He was thinking about the accident that claimed both his mother and his father’s lives. He remembered everything that happened that night and the last words they said to him. Caleb sat at the table and ate his sandwich. His mind wandered to the girls he saw in the woods. They were so beautiful, especially the dark-haired girl. He couldn’t stop thinking of her. Abigail ran as fast as she could through the woods, away from the house and away from her sisters. She loved them very much but she was tired of being weighed down by them. She felt bad for feeling that way about them, it wasn’t their fault. But she couldn’t help the way she felt. It was past time to be alone for a while. She thought about going back to the house they have in Scotland, or maybe Ireland. She only brought a small duffle bag with a few clothes. She didn’t have to bring much because all of their houses had clothes and everything they needed. All she needed was her passport, ID, and some cash, all which she had in her purse. “Get up!!!” Drew barged into Caleb’s room, “Man you have been asleep for over an hour.” Mom said not to wake him but Drew wasn’t going to let Caleb miss dinner. Alaina woke up and stared at the beige wall that made up her room, she got up and walked over to her window. She had dreamed for the first time in a very long time. She was thinking about the boy, that face and those sorrow filled eyes. She had saved him because she felt sorry for him, now she couldn’t stop thinking about him. Something about his eyes, she thought. She decided sitting here wasn’t going to help get him off her mind. So she decided to go take a run. She loved to run, it helped clear her mind. She passed by the library on her way out and noticed that Arianna was sleeping in the chair. She looked so peaceful she didn’t want to wake her up. She wrote her a note to tell her that she would be back soon and not to worry.She stepped out onto the porch and looked out at the woods.

Scotland 2020 It was another one of those days where all it did was rain. The clouds hung low and dark and promised nothing other than more rain, maybe even a little bit of snow. She would like some snow, Arianna thought to herself. It would be a nice change to the rain. She stared out of her bedroom window, for miles and miles all there was to see was trees and hills. And rain. Frustrated she spun out of her room and down the stairs. She could hear the tv on in the living room. Alaina had to be just as bored as she was. Maybe enough to leave and find another place to live for a while, she was ready to go back to the states. She loved living there and the only reason she left was because Alaina came back from a run one day and was upset saying they needed to leave.
