Alaina walked into the hotel room, Arianna meeting her at the door.

“Were you able to get a look at it?” Arianna asked.

“No, I never got the chance. He took me down to the lake. While we were there, he got a message and said he had to go to the hospital. As soon as we got back to his house he went inside and shut the door on me.” Alaina said.

“We need to get a look at that amulet. There are too many, from too many different families, that can hold that kind of power. I can’t narrow it down without seeing what it looks like.” she told Alaina.

“I will go back and watch for him to get home. After he falls asleep, I will sneak in and find it.” said Alaina.

“You will have to be quick. Any ideas where he would keep it?” Arianna asked.

“Something tells me he is still wearing it around his neck.” Alaina said and a low growl escaped her.

“Really?” Arianna asked.

    Abigail and Nicholas stepped of the plane in Los Angeles and got a car. She put the address that Alaina sent her into the GPS and headed to the house. She was glad that Alaina was getting Arianna out of Devils Lake but she wasn’t happy that Alaina was going back. But Alaina needed to handle this situation, and if Alaina couldn’t, she would. She won’t take any chances when it came to her sisters. She didn’t want Alaina to go back alone, and her and Nicholas had talked about him staying with Arianna while Abigail goes back with Alaina.     “What the fuck?” Alaina was practically yelling at this point. As soon as she got back to the hotel room Arianna had showed her a picture of the amulet she had found. It was hanging around the neck of the witch that had killed their mother. They knew that witch wasn’t still alive. Alaina and Hannah had seen to that. After she had killed their mother, she disappeared for years. Then one night, while Alaina was visiting Hannah and her new daughter, Sybil tried to attack Hannah, and if Alaina hadn’t of been there, she may have succeeded. But Alaina was there, and her and Hannah killed her. Sybil couldn’t have been the one to give that amulet to Caleb, but it could have been one of her descendants. They weren’t even sure she even had any. But if it wasn’t, then it could have been a friend of Sybil’s looking for revenge. Either way, they had to get that amulet away from Caleb. It was sure to hold a lot of dark magic, since Sybil was one of the biggest practitioners and held the most power

    “Arianna, look at this!” Alaina yelled suddenly, making Arianna jump. “What? Oh my.” Arianna said looking at Alaina’s computer screen.     Alaina felt something was off with Caleb, but she just couldn’t put her finger on it. He was giving her a chance to make things right, but there was something nagging at her, telling her something wasn’t right.
