LOGINI spent twenty years believing I was nothing. A wolfless Omega. A burden no one wanted. A girl beaten for even the littlest errors, blamed for sins she never committed, and forced to swallow a bitter medicine every single day because everyone claimed it kept my weak body alive. My mate was supposed to be my salvation. Instead, before my entire pack, he looked into my eyes with disgust, rejected me without hesitation, and shattered what little was left of my heart. That night, I lost everything. Or so I thought. Because while I was running for my life beneath a bleeding moon, fate led me to a stranger worth dying for. Saving his sister and her baby from a pack of rogues awakened something buried deep inside me—something terrifying enough to slaughter thirty rogues without my hands ever touching them. And when I opened my eyes again... I found myself in the fortress of the most feared man in the supernatural world. Marcellous Draven. The Supreme Alpha King. The monster every pack whispers about. The man my risen wolf insists is my second-chance mate. I expected another ruler who would see me as weak. Another Alpha who would command me to kneel. Instead, he offered me something far more shocking. Kindness. He never demanded pieces of me I wasn't ready to give. He stood between me and my nightmares, patiently teaching me that survival wasn't the same as living. While the world called me cursed, he looked at the frightened girl hiding beneath the scars and treated her like someone worth protecting. As ancient enemies rise from the shadows and betrayals cut deeper than silver, I must decide whether I will remain the frightened girl my past created... or become the queen destiny has been waiting for.

"You ungrateful bitch, what the hell are you still doing on the bed by this time of the day? Who the fuck do you think you are? A princess? Get off that bed, go to the kitchen and make yourself useful, you wolf less girl! A shame and disgrace all in one. Stand up now and go get the pack's breakfast ready!" Mother's voice thundered in my sleep. That had to be a terrifying nightmare. I continued sleeping until cold water came crashing on my body. I jerked up immediately staring with eyes wide with fear. Oh God, I have over-slept more than my usual time. I fell on my knees in an instant, a sob breaking from my lips. "I'm so sorry," I pleaded, as tears rolled out of my eyes. I didn't want to be caned again. My whole body was already sore from that of yesterday. "Get out!" Mother yelled back at me with angry eyes almost about to hit the basin which had contained ice water on my head. I tried ducking but it was already too late as the basin had already collided with my head giving me a sharp early morning headache to start my day. More sobs. I rushed out hurriedly knowing fully well that mother was behind me and I need not make her angry again. I entered into the pack's kitchen. It was still very early in the morning, everywhere looked so dark and most werewolves haven't risen from their beds yet. I am Divina Jade, an omega. I have no right to voice out my feelings or else they will throw me to the city's mine, and that has never been my wish. Tears ran down my cheeks again and I wiped it with the back of my palm. As I strode into the kitchen, it gave a dark view. The lights weren't turned on and I was so scared of the dark. I had to stop walking any further. The light switch was still quite far from where I stood. "Why aren't the lights working? How can there be light everywhere else but not here in the kitchen?" I whispered to myself as I summoned courage and was about to enter the kitchen when a hand dragged me harshly. I screamed, but my mouth was covered immediately by a huge hand. My eyes widened in fear. I struggled to break free from whoever was dragging me into another room. "Let go of me. Someone please help me." I shouted helplessly even though I knew it was futile since everyone was asleep and everywhere was too quiet and lonely. Where was mother? Wasn't she just behind me? The hand dragging me was so big and strong, I knew it had to be a male. All my screams and shouts came out muffled. We were inside a dark room now and with a heavy force, my back was slammed into a wall and the pain was excruciating that I had to bite my lips harshly to prevent tears from falling. I tried to struggle even with the pain when a heavy slap landed on my face. My hair was all over my face and the slap made me stop struggling as I hissed with pain, holding unto my cheeks. I screamed again, but he was quick enough to use his hands to gag my mouth. Who the hell was he? I was so scared. I raised my head up, the room was dark. I stared at the man's shadow. Why did he look so familiar? My eyes weren't as great as most werewolves in seeing through the dark but I could have sworn that he looked so much like my brother Bernard. He was the soon-to-be Beta of the pack. My brother, Bernard, was yet to find a mate for himself. He is almost 29 years now and hasn't been blessed by a mate like the Alpha's son. He had always been pampered, spoiled by mother and that made him so arrogant and evil. The same goes with my sister, Shea. Although Shea was a lot better than Bernard or so I thought. My father before he died was a good man. He always brought me flowers and chocolates whenever he came back for his travels. We were all happy and mother never treated me this way then. She was like a mother I never had. After my father died my life came crashing down. Father had died on the night of my eighteenth birthday, he was so excited for me that I would finally be able to see my wolf. Back then, I was glad to see the excitement on daddy's face. Shea had complained that he wasn't this excited on her own eighteenth birthday when she had seen her wolf. That was the night that my life came crashing from a place so high. I knew I was in trouble when I saw the angry and jealous glint appear on both Mother and Shea's face. That same night, Father went out to pluck my favorite flowers which grew in the border of the pack. A group of rogues attacked the guards that were on patrol and father wasn't so fortunate. It was a black night for us. My family blamed me for his death and I blamed myself too. If only Father wasn't too excited to get me those flowers. If only they weren't my favorite. I hated myself more when my wolf didn't surface. I cried that night like I've never cried before. As I remembered the way my father's body lay there in the pool of his own blood. His eyes wide as if he was taken by surprise. I cursed myself so much and I hate my wolf too for deciding to fail me. The moon goddess has never been good to me. I am a wolfless omega. A shame. Since then, my family has been worse to me. No day passes by without my pillow soaking in tears. Bernard had always been given the best things in life, and he was my worst bully. He was the first wolf in the pack to make my life more unbearable, and this made him my worst enemy. For him to drag me to this room meant one thing, he wanted to give me trouble. I raised my head fully. Now staring at his face. He was two feet away from me and I was grateful for that. At least, I was able to breathe. Even though I knew how much of a trouble that I was in. "Can I help you with anything, Beta Bernard?" I said with my voice low, hoping that my voice didn't come out weak or worse, rash. Bernard had taken this beta position seriously and anything that has to do with him, I need to be very careful so as not to talk rashly. He was a walking devil in human form. I wasn't ready for what he was about to do. He strode towards me, caging me to the wall. His hand wrapped around my neck as he tightened his hold. I shook with fear as I never expected such actions from him. It wasn't the first time he had come close to me but he was too close now and it was terrifying. What was he doing? Isn't he satisfied with bullying me always and now he is acting like a pervert. He forcefully used his hand that was holding my neck to raise my head up, making me look at him straight in the eye. "Hi, sis, who would have thought you had the nerve to try to fight me back? You shameless omega." He paused his sentence midway, I felt his intense glare on my face. "I came to remind you of this night when we will find our mates. Considering the fact that you will be rejected by your mate if you would likely be gifted one. Nobody will accept a weak wolfless Omega like you." That hurt. Yes, I knew no one would accept me as their mate but I've known that since when I found out I was wolfless and I was an Omega but what was he driving at. The other part of my mind already knew where this was going. "I came here with a proposal sis," He continued, I knew he had that mocking grin on his face. "If I find my mate tonight, I promise to give you a position to be my concubine and sex mate." My facial expression changed to that of disgust. I already saw this coming, didn't I? Yet, I couldn't help but be shocked. How can he be this shameless to have spilled out such nonsense from his mouth? He was already twenty-nine years old. Most of other wolves his age found their mates when they were eighteen. From what I heard, mates were blessings from the moon goddess. Bernard had the guts to say he would want to have me as his sex mate alongside his mate. That's insane. He was always supposed to be faithful to his mate. "Don't worry I will save you whenever the Alpha wants to throw you to the mine for being mateless," He kept sprouting, offering me a devious smile. "What are you even saying?" I asked, trying to be calm, which was so hard. His other hand tucked my hair behind my ears. "I wouldn't want to waste your beauty and it will be a privilege for you. I mean it's not everyday the soon-to-be Beta offers someone, much less someone like you, this kind of privilege. Trust me, all unmated females want to be in my bed. I'm already imagining you under me. Would you like it slow, or fast? I’ll be at your command then." I felt the great urge to puke except there was nothing in my stomach. Bernard bit my neck a little. I shivered under his touch as I felt something hard press against my stomach. What the hell? My eyes widened, shocked and disgusted by my brother's act, even though we weren't blood related. With disgust, my reaction towards his sexual approach was even worse than I expected. I didn't know what gave me the courage to do what I did. Slap. It echoed loudly in the dark room. Still with that courageous fire running through my veins, I pushed him with a huge force that sent him smashing his butt on the floor.Marcellous My mate's embarrassed expressions were so fucking cute. I watched the color rush to Divina’s pale cheeks, her dark, wide eyes blinking in utter, breathless stunned silence. Her lips parted slightly, but not a single sound escaped her throat. The fierce, terrifying little firefly who had just threatened to burn my whole kingdom to the ground had completely evaporated, replaced by a confused, flustered girl whose brain had clearly short-circuited the moment I mentioned that Kira was my sister. It took everything in me not to let out a low chuckle. For the first time in my thirty years on this earth, a genuine, unbidden smile broke across my face. It felt foreign on my lips—a warmth cracking through the permanent ice that had encased my soul for as long as I could remember. Slowly, involuntarily, I began to reach my hand out toward her. My calloused fingers yearned to sweep a stray, dark lock of hair behind her delicate ear, to feel the electric hum of her skin agains
DivinaWithout a second of hesitation, all six armored guards dropped to their knees in unison, their heavy armor clanking loudly against the floor as they bowed their heads toward the tiles. “Yes, My King!” they barked in terrified unison. I froze, my hands trembling at my sides. Nobody... in my entire life... had ever defended me. No one had ever stood up for me. No one had ever threatened to hurt someone else just to keep me safe. In the Black Moon Pack, I was the girl everyone was allowed to kick, hit, and throw trash at. Hearing the most feared male on the continent order his own elite force to protect my honor or pay with their limbs sent a bizarre, overwhelming ache straight through my chest. Still, I shouldn't trust him, right? But his next action let my heart and mind more confused on what to do. A soft drip sounded against the silence of the hall. Marcellous’s eyes darted down to my right arm. Fresh, bright red crimson was dripping steadily from my torn vein
Divina Here it comes, I thought, my entire body locking up in anticipation of the explosion. Finally. That sigh shows that he must really be tired of all this pretence. He should reject me. Let's get this over with. I braced myself for the impact. I expected his hand to crush my windpipe, expected his thunderous voice to vibrate through my bones as he dragged me back down the hall by my hair. That was how it worked. That was how Alphas responded when a wolfless Omega dared to spit in their faces. I clenched my eyes shut, waiting for the harsh, violent reality to shatter the fragile illusion of his kindness, waiting for the snap of the mate bond between us just as it did when Rowan rejected me. Instead, his fingers slowly uncurled from my throat. The heat of his touch vanished, replaced instantly by the cold air of the corridor. I opened my eyes in shock to see him take a deliberate, quiet step backward. A collective, sharp gasp echoed down the hallway. I glanced past
DivinaDarkness pulled at me, heavy and suffocating, but the terror was louder. It clawed at my throat until my eyes snapped open.A shadow towered over me.My heart slammed against my ribs so hard it rattled my bones. Cold sweat broke out across my forehead, and every single nerve in my body screamed in pure panic.Bernard.He had caught me. Oh God, he had found me. The dark, damp dungeon, the stench of old blood, the iron chains—it was all coming back. The forest, the awakening of my wolf, the strange power, the towering Alpha King who had spoken to me with a voice like velvet... it was all a dream. A cruel, sick fantasy my broken mind had conjured up while Bernard had me locked away.“No!” I shrieked, my voice cracking, raw with hysteria.I thrashed wildly on the surface beneath me, trying to pull away, but my wrists felt bound. Ropes. He tied me down. The sick bastard. I didn't think. I didn't care about the agony tearing through my flesh. I yanked my right arm with everythin
