Chapter fifteen

Lucian sat up on the bed forcefully, breathing heavily. Sweats were dripping on his face and he didn’t need to feel his bed to know he has drenched it with sweats. As his breath was calming and his accelerated heart beat gradually returning to normal, he wiped his hands on his face. The nightmares had returned again, he thought they have finally left him? He didn’t have them at all yesterday, not when he slept in the morning nor at night so why did they return again? Why are they haunting him once more?
