Chapter Seven: Lost In The Woods

"I knew it! What Sir said earlier was really for me," I said before sighing.

I just keep walking in the middle of the woods, hoping to see a sign or whatever trace I had earlier that I passed there. But I just fail.

"Why didn't I fully charge my cell phone before traveling or maybe I should have thought of bringing a power bank. Aish! My cell phone went dead then when the battery is full, I'm lost now. Stupid! " I said irritated as I sat down on a big rock.

After I set up the tent that I would be sleeping in tonight, I next arranged my things inside. I spent a few minutes arranging, just as I looked at the time on my cellphone, it suddenly died. It shutdown, what the fuck!

"I wouldn't have gotten lost now and above all, I would have happily eating my dinner," I added.

I just keep ranting in my head while rubbing my stomach. I turn on my phone to check what time it is. Shockingly, its already six-thirty pm.

"That's why I can feel my stomach growling."

I sighed twice in front of my cellphone screen. Being unlucky, Sir's reminder happened to me. Life really sucks!

"They must be starting to eat there. For sure, some of my classmates are already full. Are you going back and forth to the one who drives the food? They even beat the eat-all-you-can of the restaurants, although we also paid for that, so it's okay. Well, at least the payment is worth it," I said while smiling.

"Perhaps, they will also notice or even if only our adviser will notice that he is missing one of his students, scratch that, I was lost to be exact. After all, he will have a roll call before the activity scheduled for tonight starts," I added.

I frowned and looked up at the sky while letting out another sigh.

I watched the clouds, the birds flying, no wait, that's not a bird. By the way, they are bats, they are starting to come out to roam and eat because the sun king is about to hide.

"Psh, they're still good. They just fly around in the air."

Fortunately, the day is longer than the night. Somehow I still have hope that someone will find me before it gets dark. Hey! It's Sir's fault. There's something about the devil and parasitism in his mouth. Every word he utters has a curse, especially if he is really serious.

'Is it really Sir's fault or your fault because you have no sense of direction?'

I closed my eyes and shook my head to get the voice out of my mind. I was suddenly irritated because I felt my conscience tighten. Aish, never mind!

When I felt my neck stiffen from looking up for a few minutes, I moved my head in different directions. Head exercise I guess. I opened my eyes and looked around to where I was now. Only the gentle movement of the leaves from the towering tree, the sound of the small animals around and my breathing was the only sound I had. I. I took it to make a pen on the ground, to pass the time while waiting for someone to find me.

But after being bitten and made dinner by mosquitoes, I didn't see a flashlight or torch with fire. The sky is gradually getting darker.

"Shit! Shit! Shit! My blistered skin is about to hit you," I said with irritation as I continued to kill the bugs that were touching my skin.

After I swatted away the mosquitoes, I immediately rubbed my skin. Because it itches and hurts!

Fortunately, I made the right decision not to change anyhow.

I'm wearing only jogging pants and a t-shirt right now, actually, since we arrived here. I admit that I smell a little different. Are you sweaty, sunny and hay I don't know! All I know is that I'm unlucky right now.

"My classmates or Sir didn't really look for me, they were terrible! For sure, Sir made a roll call before eating," I almost cried whispering in the air.

I stood up from sitting on the rock and patted my butt with both hands.

No one will looked for me here if I just cry and let people who don't care about me get hurt. Joke! I mean to other people haha. Mosquitoes will only consume my blood if I continue to wait and sit here. Devil!

"I will report you to my grandfather once I got back, Sir!" I grimaced.

I looked for my cell phone in the pocket of my jogging pants, when I felt it was there I immediately took it and turned on its flashlight. I dropped the cellphone upside down on the rock I was sitting on earlier when I realized something.

I immediately took off my clothes, after all I had a shirt on and no one could see me in that order. I turned it over and put it back on before I picked up my upside down cell phone on the rock.

"I was being misled so I lost my way. Let's see if I still get lost," I said confidently while looking at my upside down clothes.
