*Princess Ana Mae's Pov*
After hearing what Leana said, I was left staring at the prince and princess of the other two kingdoms. I don't know how to react, I'm afraid they won't like me just like my cousin Amira who despises me so much. They both walk towards my direction with a smile on their faces.
"So, the rumors are true. The crown princess of Citrine is finally studying here!" the princess spoke and I can see happiness and excitement in her crystal blue eyes.
"Yes," I answered nervously. I don't know why I suddenly felt nervous, probably because it's my first time to come face to face with other royals.
"We are very happy to finally meet you, right Lyndon?" she giggled.
"Of course! We've been waiting for this day your highness," Lyndon said politely then he smiled at me.
"No need to call me your highness because you came from a royal family as well and besides we are all students here. No need to address me like that," I told him. They chuckled after hearing what I said.
"You're right. By the way I'm Diane Villaren from Ethmus and this is Lyndon Kashiver from Valor," she said to introduce herself and the prince beside her.
"I'm Ana Mae Villashne and this is Leana Swendel my friend." Leana waved her hands to them.
"Hello your highnesses, it was nice meeting you," she said politely.
"It was nice meeting you too Leana," Diane said happily.
"Me too," Lyndon said that made Leana's eyes sparkle like diamonds.
"Gosh I think we forgot something Leana!" I blurted out. I suddenly realized that we still have a class to attend to and our professor might have gone mad waiting for us.
"Oh my! How did we forgot about the time?" Leana said nervously.
"You better hurry, we'll see you again some other time. It was nice meeting you again Ana Mae and Leana!" Diane said with glee. Then they both gave us a warm smile. We smiled back to them before we started to walk towards the direction of our classroom.
"I'm nervous your highness," Leana whispered, she's playing with her palms, something that she usually do everytime she's nervous. I mentally laughed with her actions, she's cute!
"Don't be Leana, our professor might scold us but she's not going to kill us," I teased her. Then all of a sudden she stopped walking which made me curious. So I stopped walking as well then I faced her.
"What's wrong? Why did you stop? I thought you don't wish to be scolded by our professor?" I asked with full curiosity. She diverted her gaze on my left side and I almost froze when I did the same.
I was really shocked to see my cousin that I have been avoiding for several days now. She's walking towards our direction with a smirk on her face.
"Oh what a lovely day! I have finally seen my dear cousin!" she said sarcastically.
"What do you want Princess Amira?" Leana asked in a bored tone. I tried to give her a 'stop it' look but she just ignored me. This bad girl ,she really wants to feel the wrath of my cousin!
"You shut up slave! I'm not talking to you!" Amira yelled at her, her eyes are deadly indicating that she's really mad. I stood between the two of them to stop my cousin from doing something bad to Leana.
"Amira! Will you please stop being so arrogant?" I told her and her eyes became more darker. She held my chin up and I wasn't able to protect myself when she suddenly pushed me. I fell to the ground and it created a scene. Everyone who sees it started to whisper like bees.
"Why did you do that?" Leana shouted angrily. She was about to slap Amira but my evil cousin quickly grabbed her wrist and pushed her just like what she did to me.
"Amira this is too much!" I stood up and was about to slap her when she said something that broke my heart.
"My dear cousin, do you really think that slapping me would make you a hero?" He laughed hard and that made our audience laugh as well. I was more pissed with what she did. She just disrespected me infront of our schoolmates! How could she do this to a crown princess like me? And I'm her cousin for pete's sake!
"Listen carefully, you are no longer inside the walls of your so called palace. Your mommy and daddy are not here to save you," she mocked.
All of a sudden I felt a sudden pain and longing in my heart. I missed my mom and dad. I run as fast as I could, I even heard Leana calling my name but I did not stop to look at her. I ignored her and continued to run, I have no idea on where I am planning to go. The only thing that's clear to me is I need to run away from Amira and overcome this pain and longing that I'm feeling right now.
I found myself walking in the garden of our University. I slowly walk towards the direction of the bench that was placed behind a tall tree. I sat there and started crying.
All my life, my only wish was to be accepted by everyone especially by my own cousin and aunt. They are my family but they are always treating me like an enemy. I wasn't able to stop my tears from falling and my cheeks were already wet. I did not bring anything that I could use to wipe them away so I just let them fall freely.
"Just tell me if you need a shoulder to lean on, I can lend you mine." I automatically turn around when I heard that voice. And I was shocked to see Zion standing behind me wearing a smile on his handsome face. I can feel my heartbeat raising like it's in the middle of a life and death situation.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him trying to hide the nervousness that I'm feeling right now. He slowly walks towards me and comfortably sat on the bench where I was sitting. He took out a handkerchief from his pocket and offered it to me.
"You might need this," he said using his sweet manly voice that made me lost for a second. God how could this man be so perfect?
"Thank you." I'm a little shy but I have no other choice but to accept his offer. My cheeks and the collar of my uniform are already wet due to my unstoppable tears and I need something to wipe them.
"You're always welcome," he answered, still wearing his smile. Then he stared at the blue skies above us. I was curious when his smile grew wider and then he chuckled. Seriously? What's wrong with this guy?
"All my life I have never seen such beautiful skies, not until today." I was more curious with his statement.
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
He remained staring at the skies and then he spoke, "My childhood days were filled with darkness. It feels like I've been kept hidden inside a small dark cage. I have no freedom to see the light of the day, nor enjoy the lovely scent of flowers. I don't even know what it feels like to be free and play under the sun," he mumbled and I could see sadness in his eyes.
"What do you mean? Your parents locked you inside your room for a long time?" I asked him.
He chuckled before he diverted his gaze to me , then he looked directly into my eyes and I swear to God it made me feel weak.
"Not literally. But the world where I grew up is not as beautiful as yours. It is a world full of pains, disappointments and hatred. But I have no freedom to be sad, I was told to keep my emotions hidden. You wanna know why?" he asked still smiling. Seriously how could he smile when his eyes are clearly telling me that he's sad?
"Why?" I don't know why he's telling me everything about his past life, but atleast I want to listen to his story.
"Because showing your tears, fears and sadness to your enemies means showing them your weakness. You are giving them a hint on where they should attack you." I was completely shocked with his answer. I wasn't able to say a single word, even when he patted my head before he stood up and started to walk away. I was left speechless but a part of me is telling me that he's right, I should not show everyone that I'm weak. I'm the future queen of this land and I need to be fearless, brave and strong!
*First Person's POV* Just as when I was about to blame myself, Leanna spoke, "No madame! The Gods did not sacrifice all of you!" The woman diverted her gaze to her. "And how did you know?" she asked while raising her left brow. "Because I'm one of the servants of the Gods. I am the guardian of the chosen one, and I know the whole story," Leanna stated while the woman stared at her with wide eyes. "So you're one of their accomplices? And you planned all of this just to know our whereabouts and sacrifice our lives once again? I really can't believe that the Gods could be that selfish! "No! I just want you to know the truth!" "We already know what the truth is!" the woman insisted."When we met the dark immortals earlier they told us that the reason why you hid yourselves down here, is that you are all selfish. But I did not believe them, because I don't want to judge someone without even knowing the truth. I just hope you will do the same with the God
First Person's POV; "ZION!" I heard Diane screaming Zion's name. She must've been worried about him but the big question in my mind right now is, why would Zion risk his life to protect me? I stared at his eyes but still I could not see any emotion from it. He's still as cold as ice. "Your highness ,you better not forget our mission. Don't be so careless, or you might get yourself killed," Stefan said and Zion automatically let go of me. It's as if he was burned or something. "Are you okay Ana?" Diane asked as she hurriedly run towards me. Lyndon and Leanna did the same thing and they started checking if I got wounds or bruises. "I'm fine guys, you don't have to worry about me," I told them with a smile. The three of them stared at Zion with confusions written all over their faces. They were probably thinking on why the hell would Zion save my life, when he's obviously one of our enemies wishing for my death. Well, I wonder the same thing though. Maybe it
*First Person's Pov*Our journey to the North side of the forest lasted for two dark days. We were all exhausted when we reach the pear plantation. The place was serene and just like the other side of the forest, we did not see even a single animal walking around. All we could see through the tiny light of the moon are tall pear trees with fruits shining as it's touched by the moonlight."How are we going to find the white oracles here? All that's here are pear trees," Diane said frustratingly."Haven't you heard what Leanna told us before we came here? Pears are what the white oracles eat. So I'm pretty sure we're going to find one here!" Lyndon told Diane with a glare. I can't believe these two are starting to have their quarrels again."Guys please just be quite. We're not trying to let them know we're here and run off, aren't we?" I hushed them out."Sorry Ana, it just that there's some grinch over here!" Diane rolled her eyes at Lyndon."So you dare to say that I'm a grinch?
*First Person's POV*Just by looking into his eyes I realised how much I've longed for him. And in a split second I found myself drowning in the valley of his gaze as I danced with the rhythm of my heart. I don't need a love like Romeo and Juliet's, nor of Edward and Bella. What I want is a unique and pure love whom I can call my own."Zion," I mumbled as the wind gently blows, touching his face. He stared at me emotionless, it's as if he doesn't even know who I am. How come? I thought our love was unforgettable. But it seems like I'm the only one who thinks that way."Oh my dear cousin." I was pulled out from my fantasies when I heard my cousin's voice."Amira? What are you doing here?" I asked her in disbelief. Don't tell me, that she and Zion came here together? My questions were answered when she clung to Zion's arms and smirked at me."Oh my dear cousin, it seems like you have fallen in love with someone you don't know," she told me with a smirk."What are you talking about
*Third Person's POV*"That chosen one is starting to piss me off!" Velion shouted angrily after receiving the news from the raven he sent to follow Princess Ana Mae."I did not know that they could easily know the secret on how to defeat those spirit knights," Amira said in disbelief. Velion stared at her angrily and she nervously swallowed the lump in her throat."And you! You're a coward! You should've fought with her instead of leaving those spirit knights alone!" he yelled at her. "You could've defeated her since I have given you a lot of powers. But you're still useless!""I'm sorry my king, I promise to do my job better next time. Just please don't punish me," she begged. She's too scared to be killed. She don't want to die without avenging her mom. Besides, all her efforts would be in vain if Velion would kill her now."Surely you will. Because if you fail this time, I will kill you without having a second thought," he warned her. "I promise my king, just tell me what you wan
*First Person's POV* The woods were covered with darkness and just like when we first entered this forest, we did not see even a single animal. Not even a chirp from a bird could be heard. "It's getting creepier in here," Diane whispered to me while biting her nail. It's some kind of mannerism for her whenever she fell nervous. "I know but we still have to travel to the North part of this forest. We need to find the white oracles as soon as possible," I told her. And with the tiny light from the moon, I saw her pout. "Yeah but don't you think we need to rest a bit? Those dark spirit knights drained all my strength," she complained which made me chuckle. "I think you're right. After all we're all exhausted after that intense fight ,we all deserve to rest," I agreed with her. "Let's look for a safe place to camp," Lyndon suggested. We all agreed and look for a safe place to stay. Leanna walked farther from us so she could check if the area is safe.
"What shall we do now?" Diane said in panick. They were on their way to Alectrona's home on top of the mountain. They were walking on the dark woods and there's not even a sign of life there. It seems like even the animals were hiding because they're too afraid of the never ending night. "If we see Alectrona there, it would be the best option for us to bring her with us to the heaven realm, but if she's no longer herself then we have to prepare to defend ourselves," Leanna reminded everyone."She's right, we have to be prepared for anything," Lyndon added."And where the hell do you think you're going?" A cold voice from behind suddenly spoke."Who's that?" Princess Ana shouted as she motioned everyone to ready their weapons. Lyndon took out his sword while Diane prepared her bow and arrow. Leanna stood infront of Princess Ana to protect her from sudden attacks."HAHAHAHAHA how rude of you my dear cousin. You seem to be forgetful nowadays. It's bad."All of a sudden Princess Ana reme
*Third Person's Pov*Alectrona the Goddess of the sun is on her way to her home on top of the mountain after having a chat with the Gods when all of a suddden she felt something strange around her. She looked around to check for someone following her but the woods were silent and all she could hear is the sound of the night owl."I know there's somebody following me," she said to herself. She could feel a dark aura behind her and it's making her nervous. She took out her sword to prepare herself from possible attacks."HAHAHAHAHAHA stupid Alectrona, don't tell me your powers are not that strong anymore? Why don't you call the sun to come out to help you find me." She felt goosebumps when she heard an evil voice behind her. The voice is so familiar to her."VELION!" she shouted angrily. "HAHAHAHAHA you got it right baby," the voice replied and in a split second she found herself being surrounded by dark smoke."You will never get me infected with your stupid miasma. NEVER!" she
*First Person's Pov*I've been like an idiot waiting for the rubies and doves to appear. The prophecy might be wrong, or maybe my mortal parents found a different child and I'm not really the Goddess of Love's daughter. And just when I thought I disappointed everyone, I saw hope on their faces when I opened my eyes. They all believe in me, and I should be doing the same thing to myself."I can do this!" I encouraged myself before I closed my eyes once again.I thought about everyone, about the two worlds that I need to protect from Velion's greed. And in my vission I saw the children's innocent faces, couples living a happy life together, trees, animals. Everyone is living a happy and peaceful life, and I could not afford to fail them. They all deserve a life like that and it will all depend on me. I'm the chosen one and I should believe that the prophecy chose me because I am strong and capable."Wow they're beautiful!" I automatically opened my eyes when I heard Diane's words. And
