Clarie's POV.

"Madelyn! Pick the trash can and pick the whole dirt around with immediate effect!"

We both turned to the direction of where the voice came from.

I was surprised to see Harrison, the guy who helped me with my bruised wound, in the kitchen.

I have seen him a few times with Alpha Nathan, I learnt he was the Gamma of the pack.

I looked over to Madelyn, I could see the fear in her eyes, she had turned into a quiet person all of a sudden.

"Greetings Gamma Harrison," Madelyn greeted with a bow, she faked a smile trying to cover up.

I know she must be cooking up a huge lie but I won't keep quiet.

"Come here, the both of you." He ordered and we both walked to him.

Madelyn secretly signaled for me to keep my mouth sealed, I almost laughed out loudly.

I thought she would keep on acting like a crazy being, why isn't she shouting and reporting?

"What's happening over there?" He asked with authority denoted in his voice.

"Nothing at all, I was just helping her out. The head maid
