Alice's point of view:
Alpha Asher was thrown away as a big, mad wolf was standing between us. I swear I've never seen Joshua that angry. His wolf was way too different from his father. His father's wolf was a dark brown, big wolf. Yet Joshua was a light brown, enormous wolf. His wolf was the same size as mine, but bigger than his father.
He didn't even care that the wolf he had just thrown was his father. All he seemed to care about was to keep me safe.
Alpha Asher stands on his feet while providing a very shocked look on his face. It was as if he didn't expect such an action from his only son.
" Stand away! It's between me and her." S
Alice's point of view: Hopefully, the fight between Joshua and his father didn't go too far for any of them to hurt the other.I'm still surprised by how Joshua stood against his father only for me.Though I hope that something like that would never happen again.I don't want to be anyone's reason to fight for. Alpha Asher didn't seem to be feeling any good after Joshua's reaction, I wouldn't if I was him.Imagine giving birth to a child, rising that child in the best way possible, educating that child in the best schools ever, the most important, loving that in the strong way possible. This is how exactly was our alpha toward his child. He always seemed to love his son more than anything in this world.
Alice's point of view:While still embracing my closest friend, I felt that a pair of eyes were gazing at us. While being curious as I always was, it didn't take for me too much to find the angry eyes that were gazing at us.Well, I care less about what he thinks. I'm in deep trouble than to think about him. Besides, why would I think about him at all? His nothing to me, and I'm nothing to him.I switched my attention toward Joshua, then I started raining questions all over him." Tell me, how are you feeling so far? Are you still angry? Where have you been all this time?"I expected an answer, but it's not what I've received. Instead, he busted into a laugh." I'm fine!" He exclaims, then he adds. " I wasn't angry at you at all, I just needed to go for a run."" That's all?" I wondered, and he repeated after me. " That's all."After so, we made our way toward our first course of the day. Yet, I was feeling sta
Alice's point of view: " Listen!" He began, and I was all ears." Your life is in danger, and the life of anyone around you, is in danger. All I'm asking right now is a chance to explain what I'm having in mind. After so, you're free to do whatever you want." I didn't know if I have to trust him at this one or to go back inside. While lost thinking, my wolf spoke inside of my head. " Our mate wants a chance, let's give him a chance." " I don't think he thinks the same way as you," I told her, as I was able to feel what she was thinking about. She was hoping that our mate asks us to be together, but it's clear that he wasn't. I think there's a different reason why he wants us, something related to what happened that day in the palace. " Why not? There's no reason that makes him reject us. And if he doesn't want us like you claim, why he didn't accept your rejection yet?" Her question was a question that burne
Alice's point of view:Before I was done speaking, I started feeling pain in my back as I was pushed into a wall." Dare to tell me what to do, and I'll be glad to take off his head with my bare hands."My wolf asked for control, and I stepped back, giving her the control she was asking for." Dare to touch someone dear to us, and you'll suffer from our wrath!" My wolf threatened him the way he threatened us.I expected him to get angry, to react as his ordinary arrogant self. Yet, this ain't what happened. It seemed that I wasn't the only one losing control to my wolf. How do I know? Well,a hand grabbed my waist, and without realizing 'how?', his sweet smell hit my nose hard, causing my instincts to go wild, which, of course, led me to lose control over myself. As one of Evan's hands was roaming around my waist, the other one captured both my hands above my head. My eyes went wide open in surprise, and I w
Alice's point of view: I left my very exhausted body, then pick a pair of t-shirt that was able to hide the hickey that Evan left on my neck along with a short, then made my way down. Indeed, I found Joshua waiting for me near the pack house's door. He didn't seem to be happy, and I kind of get why. " I can explain..." I started, but he cut me off. " Let's go for a walk!" " Now?" I questioned him. " You didn't object when the Lycan asked you out." Though we're werewolves, it's sort of dangerous to get away from the packhouse at such a time. You know, nights are rogues' favorite time to shop some victims. Anyway, I decided not to say anything but to follow. When we were in the middle of the woods, and I got to say it was really dark there, he decided to speak again. " Since when you started lying to me?" " I didn't mean to..." I started, and he finished it for me.
Alice's point of view: " Shift, then run toward the packhouse!" He ordered me to use his alpha tone, yet an alpha tone did never work on me. " What is it, Joshua? Tell me now!" I commanded him back. " Vampires..." was all he said before I noticed the red eyes watching us. " Run!" He ordered me, but I did against what I was told. It wasn't possible for me to run even if I wanted to. He shifted to his wolf, while I wasn't able to do the same. I know I'm a werewolf, but the creatures we were facing were vampires, aka bloodsuckers. I know I'm a werewolf, and I shall not fear any creature. Yet, we were only two, but they were many. I couldn't count them, but they were an army, about fifty or more. Lost while trying to analyze the situation I was, that I didn't notice the vampire coming toward my way. Hopefully, Joshua seemed to be more alert than I ever was. He came between both of us then tear away the he
Alice's point of view:" Okay! Let's cut with this none sense. First, you guys jump into our life from the nowhere. I was back then like - Never mind, it could be a coincidence. Then I started spotting you like a shadow that never leaves my side - again, I decided to convince myself that it could be a coincidence. But you, showing up like Marvel's superhero in the middle of the nowhere, while vampires attacking us, add my wolf mysterious disappearing - this is too much for a coincidence. I might be a newly shifter, but ain't a dumb. So please, feel free to explain!"" Some of these were a coincidence, others were not." Began the Lycan price, then adds." My name is Tristan, the second Lycan prince. The Lycan by your side is Evan, my older brother. The others here are our pack, and family. This is my mate Evanora..."His mate interrupted him while extending her hand toward me." Eva... Just call me Eva! I never liked that name,
Alice's point of view:I spent the entire night trying to sleep, but it wasn't easy for me to do. Whenever I close my eyes, the whole previous day started to be playing inside of my sight.Starting from the fight of Joshua and his father, then the kiss with my mate, which turns out to be a mistake based on his standers. Last by not least, I vampire bit me. Add to that my wolf went messing since the wired water accident.I was feeling afraid and insecure, and I'm not sure whose among the Lycans was watching me. My life was a mess, and it still feels like it's getting even worst.Well, I kept fighting against the stressless night until it was dawn. Only then, my eyes had finally glowed together, and I finally was able to find the peace I was searching for.Well, as I mentioned before, it was already dawn. So, I didn't sleep as much as I need. When it was already morning, I didn't need an alarm to wake up, my annoyin
