CHAPTER 14 - AGREEMENT

“PLEASE, come in!” magiliw na saad ni Clive nang marating nila ang vacation house nito. Sinalubong sila ng may katandaang babae at ipinakilala ito ng binata na caretaker sa bahay.

Napasinghap si Nikole nang masilayan ang kabuuan ng bahay ng binata. It was a two-storey house with an oval-shaped pool at the ground. Minimalistic din ang interior design ng bahay. The color palette was refreshing, as it was a combination of gray and white.

“Nice, I like your house. But I guess it would be nicer if you hang some paintings on the blank wall.” Hindi nakatiis na hayag ni Nikole.

Clive giggled. “I heard you’re a professional painter. I guess I will commission you for art soon.” Inilapit ni Clive ang sarili sa kanya at idinugtong sa mahinang boses. “Can you make a nude painting of me?”

Nikole’s face burned, but she smirked afterward. “It will be my pleasure!”

Nilingon ni Clive si Julian. “Excuse me. Can you wait here for a moment? Nik and I need to talk. Well, you can join if you want.”
