Emilia staggered back and forth inside the elevator with the motion of the elevator that was about to stop, she leans in the elevator to support herself and noticed that it was the 8th floor already. She took off and walked to her room.

Emilia stopped walking and bend forward a little to feel her keycard in her back pocket. She was getting dizzier and her vision was getting blurry too. She tried to focus her vision to read her room number.

"Ghad everything is turning around. I am not drinking again like this. What was my room number again?"

"80…6? or is that 9? which one? Gah"

"ahh! I remember it's 9! haha damn! Why can't I read it clearly? Where is it?"

Emilia walked a little more while reading each room number placed on the side of each door.

"where is my room?" she mumbled to herself while forcing her eyes to keep them open and focused her vision a little. Her body swayed when walking, so she took support from the wall.

"Argh, I feel like throwing up."

A little while after Emilia left, the bar regained its tranquil state. The bartender continued to wipe the glasses before arranging them to their place, and the man was drinking quietly.

I wonder if that miss would be alright. The bartender thought as he placed the last glass in his hands to the cabinet. He lifts his gaze and noticed that the man had already left.

The man walked out of the elevator on the 8th floor. While he was walking to his room, he saw Emilia who curled like a cat in the wall near his room.

"What a weird woman," the man said.

~ringgg~

The man took out his phone to answer the call. He continued to walk and as he getting nearer to his door, Emilia's cleavage was very clear in his point of view. He did not realize that he already answered the call as his attention was all on Emilia.

[Aiden it's me] the man on the phone said.

"snow mountain" he unconsciously said.

[what?]

Upon hearing a man's voice, the man named Aiden snapped out.

"Why did you call?" Aiden said and fetch his keycard to open his door and walked inside. While Emilia woke up from the unlocking sound of the door. She stood up and walked inside the room, which is Aiden's room, and thought that the room was hers

Aiden walked straight to the balcony with the glass door separating from the room with the red wine in his hand and his phone in the other. The night's view was astounding as the hotel was located in an elevated area. The town's market and the plaza were visible from Aiden's room. The glass door was thick enough to block out the sounds coming from the room.

[hey pal did you forget our deal? I won the bet Aiden! Hahaha]

"it's done already?" Aiden asked.

[yup! She sent it, 5 in the morning. Pretty efficient right?]

"hmmm.. not that great"

[hey! It is a one-man play you punk!]

"Are you sure she did it without outside help?"

[yes. That is why I granted her four days extended leave.]

While in the room, Emilia stripped butt naked, let her clothes fall off to the floor, and went in for a shower. After drying herself she laid down in the bed without clothes on and went to sleep.

Emilia grumbled as she felt so tired and sore all over her body, added with the splitting headache from a hangover. She buried her head deeper and pulled her hugger closer to hear. The early morning sun rays hit the side of her face and so she hid even further only then she realized that the hard pillow that was under her head and the supposedly soft hugger of hers, now had a smooth skin-like sensation that emitted a body warmth in her arms and palms and she could feel the even-breathing of sleeping person on her hair. She slowly opened her eyes and crept her hands and body away from the man she didn't know. She saw his face and recognized that he is the man she had met in the bar last night.

"ooh at the very least I lost my innocence with a handsome guy. It's a pity that I do not remember anything *sigh* " Emilia said in a low voice, afraid that would wake him up. She started to pick up her clothes on the floor. Given the state of her clothes, she was pretty sure that she took off her clothes herself. Emilia put on her clothes fast and silently walk out of the room without casting a glance at the man lying in the bed, because of this, Emilia did not notice that the man, Aiden was looking at her from picking up her clothes to her exiting his room.

Aiden rises and leaned back against the headrest of the bed. He pulls out the comforter from the bed and his doubt was cleared as he saw the bloodstains on the bedsheets. Aiden chuckled as he remembered what happened last night.

As the night wind was getting colder, Aiden decided to get inside.

"What is her name again?" Aiden asked.

[huh? It's Emilia Blanche. Why do you ask? I'll send you her resume.]

The call ended, Aiden took another sip of red wine and he received an email that had a pdf file which is the digital copy of Emilia's resume and a picture taken from the get-together a few days ago.

She had a lighter complexion, no blemishes, no makeup except for the lipstick. Her jet black long straight hair emphasizes her small face. Even though she is wearing eyeglasses, it cannot hide her beauty and charisma. In the picture, she was half-smiling to a woman who had brownish wavy hair.

Aiden slid open the glass door, he went inside the room and locked up the glass door. As he walks towards the kitchen counter he felt that he stepped on something. He bent down and picked it up and used his phone's light to see what it was. His eyes grew big as soon he saw the bra that was in his hand.

Aiden immediately released the bra from his hand and turned on the wall lights. He when the whole room was illuminated, but not too bright since it was just wall lights, enough to see the surroundings. He saw a woman lying in his bed sleeping comfortably.

Aiden was speechless. He was about to call for security when the woman suddenly turned over with her back on the bed. With this movement, Aiden was able to see a familiar face. He recognized that the woman lying in his bed was the same woman he met in the bar who was bluntly checking him out.

"It's you again huh?…."

Aiden approached the left side of the bed and sat down. He stared at her face for a while and realized that she looked quite familiar. It took time for him to remember where he had seen her. He took out his phone and looked at the picture and Emilia's bare face.

"Emilia Blanche ….?"

Emilia's eyebrows crooked as she heard her name being called. She slowly opened her eyes while her vision was still blurry and felt that her dizziness.

"urrghhh what is it?"

Aiden smirked. " she does not have the tolerance yet she drank so much."

Emilia frowned and get up she supported her body and pointed at Aiden.

"you!" Emilia stopped and stared at Aiden's face. She scooted closer to him and touched his face.

"Your handsome." Emilia used her fingers to trace the contour of Aiden's face to his shoulders, chest and lifted his shirt, and saw his abs. She gasps in surprise.

"damn hot pandesal" Emilia stared at his firm and muscular abdomen. She licks her lip and stretches her hands to feel it in her hands. Emilia did not glance at Aiden as her attention was all on his abdomen. Aiden stared intently at Emilia. He observed her every action and expression on her face. When his gaze landed on her plump lips, he could not help him but be attracted to it. He lifts his gaze and has met Emilia's gaze. Emilia pushed him to the bed and sat on his hips while her hands were groping on his abdomen. It was only then he noticed that Emilia was naked.

"Damn! Does this woman always been like this, every time she's drunk?" Aiden did his best to avert his gaze from the tempting snow mountain in front of him. He wanted to feel those breasts that seem like big enough to grab with his two hands.

Emilia licked her fingers while looking at Aiden's abdomen. The skin stretched across his muscles so tightly she feared her nails might tear it, so when she reached out, she did it so gently, using the pads of her fingers to trail a path along the labyrinth of ridges. Aiden breathed roughly as a reaction to her touch. He clenched his hands into a fist to control himself.

"get yourself together Aiden your sober. Remember that." Aiden told himself and he began to push Emilia gently to the side but he did not expect that not only did Emilia push him back, but she also leaned forward and started licking his abdomen muscles upward while gently touching it.

"ah! Fuck! You asked for this. Don't blame me. I'm just a normal healthy guy." Aiden said and he pushed Emilia to the bed. Their position was changed now.

**Later That Day** By the time the last visitor left, the room finally exhaled. Silence drifted back in, soft and familiar. The sunlight had shifted into a warm afternoon glow, filtering through the curtains and landing right on the cribs, where Amilia and Eden slept peacefully. Emilia leaned back against her pillows, completely spent but content. Her hair was messy again, her lips dry, but her eyes had that unmistakable sparkle — the kind that said I’m tired, but my heart’s full. Aiden was crouched near the cribs, his hand resting lightly on the edge. He’d barely spoken for the last few minutes, just… watching. “You’re staring again,” Emilia said softly, her voice half teasing. “Can you blame me?” he murmured without looking up. “I’m just making sure they’re real.” “They are,” she said. “And they’re definitely yours. I checked.” He finally glanced up, one corner of his mouth lifting. “You sure? Maybe I should do a DNA test, just in case.” “Try it,” she said, arching

Emilia scowled. “This is so unfair! I carried them for nine months, and they don’t even look like me! This is an injustice!” The room erupted in laughter. Rachel and Lilianna were utterly amused by Emilia’s outburst, remembering their own experiences as new mothers. Rachel stepped forward and tapped Aiden’s shoulder. “I had the same reaction when you and your brother were born,” she said, smiling fondly. “I wanted at least one baby who looked like me, but your dad’s genes were just too strong. Thankfully, Tamara takes after me, so I’m content. Now, Mia, give me more grandchildren—maybe one of them will finally look like you.” Lilianna laughed at Rachel’s teasing advice. “Mia,” she said warmly, “I was just grateful you had a mix of your dad’s and my features when I first saw you. Though I’ll admit—I did wish you looked a bit more like me. We could’ve passed for twins.” The room filled with chatter and laughter before slowly quieting down when it was time for Emilia to

After that night—when Riel ended up staying over at Bea’s house after she got drunk at the company dinner—they parted ways with awkward goodbyes and exchanged contact information, promising to keep things professional. And they did. At least, that’s what they told themselves. They continued to act as usual in the office—bickering whenever the chance presented itself, pretending nothing had changed. But beneath that façade, something had shifted. Since that night, both Bea and Riel had grown strangely aware of each other’s presence. Their playful arguments dwindled, replaced by subtle glances and quieter moments. Perhaps it was because they now talked privately over chat whenever they had time—small conversations that slowly bridged the distance between them. Each message revealed a sliver more of who they really were, and before long, they began finding each other… less annoying. The change didn’t go unnoticed. Their coworkers, long accustomed to the fiery exchanges between

  • Everything happened for a Reason   The Day They Came

Weeks had passed, and Emilia’s due date was fast approaching. She was pacing slowly around the living room, one hand supporting her back while the other rested gently on her belly. Aiden sat on the couch nearby, skimming through documents. Ever since he found out about her pregnancy, he had rarely left her side. He monitored everything—her diet, her rest, even how long she was allowed to use her phone. Eventually, she was banned from using it altogether unless someone called her directly. Emilia's parents were already in the States. They had stepped out for a short walk, and though Emilia longed to go with them, Aiden wouldn’t let her out of his sight. Then, it happened. She stopped in her tracks, her eyes widening. Her water had broken. Frozen in shock, she turned to look at Aiden. His face drained of color the moment he realized what was happening. Without a word, he jumped to his feet, grabbed his phone, and called the driver. "Aunt Mei! Get the emergency bag!" he barked, e

Like any day, people get excited when their shift ends. Aerys tidied up her area while waiting for the next person assigned for the night shift. "Do you want to come with us to drink, Loren?" Hearing some voices, Aerys looked up and saw Loren and the others coming down. She glanced at the wall clock and saw it was time for her shift to end. 'She's late.'
