Chapter 6

Aauuggghhh!!!

I know that you might be asking what happened or what is happening and guess what?!

It is Monday morning again and I am seriously not in the mood to go to school today. 

Not because I don't have the strength but also because I know that veronica will be on my neck today concerning what happened at the restaurant that Saturday.

Do I need to go to school? I asked myself

"Yes, you do," my mom said from outside my door

where the hell did she come from? I asked myself

"language Lucy!!" she said

I think this is imagination but why am I imagining my mom saying things to me? I asked myself.

"Will you get your ass out from that bed and get into that bathroom right now", my mom said while barging into my room.

Oops!

I wasn't imagining things I said to myself while jumping out of the bed.

"Language mom" I shouted before closing the bathroom door.  

 In case you are wondering what happened, I saw reasons with my mom why she insisted on seeing Mr. Jack and after that incident on Saturday, I apologized to both of them and here we are now back to mom and daughter relationship.

 Truth to be told, I was a bit surprised that Mr. Jack stood up for me and I won't deny the fact that I have started having soft spot for him.

I have been counterplotting within myself if I should give him a chance after that incident not because I am still angry at both of them but I see it as a chance to make up for those times he has missed in my life. I wanted to prove to veronica that I have a family who cares for me.

****In school*****

Why the hell is everyone staring at me?! I said 

I just arrived at school a few minutes ago and guess what?

immediately I entered the hallway, it seems the whole school stopped and starting looking at me. it's very creepy and I had no choice but to ask why. Fortunately, it worked for me because they all respected themselves and continued what they were doing.

My mission is to avoid veronica throughout today but unfortunately for me, we both are in the same class.

I can't believe that I have survived half of the day without any encounter with veronica. let me forget the part that she has tried all she could to talk to me but being who I am, I was able to disguise myself and hide in the crowd. 

Everything was going the way I planned.

I survived to the last class but didn't make it to the end of the day.

I am currently waiting for my mom to come to pick me up when someone tapped me from behind and behold, I saw veronica standing in all her glory with her two sidekicks.

Their faces looking fake because it was baked with makeup. I don't still know why the school doesn't complain about her dresses, IT'S A SCHOOL NOT A PARTY!!! 

I'm talking to your dummy, I heard someone say

What? I asked because I forgot that someone was talking to me.

Who the hell was that man the other day and why the hell did he delete that video? she asked

I am her father and I don't think you have an issue with that, I heard someone said behind me and turned to see Mr. Jack.

I was relieved because I didn't even know the answer to that question and was terrified for what was going to happen next but all thanks to him for saving me the second time from the hands of this female devil.

"Your family is so weird and strange and I must find what you guys are hiding and expose you," she threatens.

"Run along dear, what you don't know don't know you and I don't want to see you near my daughter," he said

Dad, please let's go, I said

"Fine, let's..... DID YOU JUST CALL ME DAD!" he said in a surprised tone.

Shit!!!

Let's go please, I said pleading with my eyes.

What the hell was I thinking? I asked myself. Do I want to give him chance?, Do I want this? I asked myself 

I think I do, let me tell him now, I said to myself

hmmm... I want to tell you something. I started

Go on I'm listening he said

I want to thank you for standing up for me, I also didn't regret calling you dad and I am so sorry for being rude on the first day, I said

Are you serious? he asked losing concentration on the road while looking at me.

Before I could answer, I saw a big truck coming in our direction and screamed LOOK DAD! and that was the last thing I remembered.
