Amara’s POV
“Billionaire Empress, Former CEO of the Emerald Hearts Firm, Amara Forger, found exiting The Royal Barks Hotel and Resort with the renowned Prince of the city, Roman Winters.”
Trixie was doing her best to hide her excitement from me, and I could see it on her face.
“You must have been knocked out for this kind of thing to happen,” she looked at me with a smile on her face. “Cause I know, if there is nothing you hate in the world more than Roman. But now, it seems that you are having an affair with him.”
“Please dont say that out loud,” I was rubbing my temple, trying to think of what was going on.
She got up from the chair, grabbing a glass of water from the table. Handing it to me, she watched as I drank it, trying to numb the pain.
“I know you must feel like trash at this point, but you have to be strong and think of what you are going to do next.”
She was not wrong. Even with everything happening, I needed to find a way and make sure I would take my company back from Hunter.
Taking a sip of the water, I was now trying to think of ways to stop Hunter and my family from taking any other thing from me.
“I will have to head to the company and make sure that….”
My phone binged, I took it out of my pocket, and I was shocked to see something I would have never thought of reading.
“What? I am being suspended for seven months on the count that I was being violent?!”
This was unbelievable; seven months were enough for them to take everything away from me.
“Wait a minute,” I moved over to my laptop, as I tried to log into my office accounts.
‘ACCESS DENIED!’
“This dick! He cut me out of everything?!”
I was frustrated; I couldn't even get things done from my side.
“This is bad, isn't it?” Trixie was looking at the screen; she could see the worried look on my face.
“Bad? This is beyond bad, Trixie. Bad is when you have a way of solving all of this and getting your say, but this is. It is beyond catastrophic. With this, he can move me out of the company and even take the eleven percent I was left with.”
I slumped down by the bed, confused and filled with pain. I couldn't think of anything that would help out here.
Trixie stood there, she was confused, and there was no denying why. She couldn't help me; no one could. It was all a game to them, and now I have lost everything.
She came close to me and sat by my side. Wrapping her arms around me with a smile on her face.
“Dont worry, you will figure something out. You always do, but you need to clear your head first.” She was trying to calm me down, and I understood what she was doing.
“All the years I spent trying to build that company, now I have been driven off with nothing.” I was this close to crying when my phone started ringing.
Looking up, I took it and saw it was a private number calling me, and from the looks of things, it was going to be something off.
I didnt have anything to lose, so I picked it up.
“Hello, who is this?”
“Ah, the Ice Queen is awake. No wonder it's so cold this hour!”
“Roman! What in the world are you doing calling me?”
“Can you not try to bite my head off for a minute and listen to me? I can help you, but I would love to see you… Meet me at the Crystal Cove Cafe in thirty minutes.”
“Why should I do that? If you think there is any chance that I would…”
“Dont you want your company and firm back?”
“...”
I didnt expect him to say something like that, it took me by surprise.
“I thought so, I will see you in thirty minutes, and please dont buy poison vials while coming.”
The line went dead…
“Amara, if I were someone else, then I would tell you that your meeting with Roman would look like a scandal, but for him to call you like this…”Trixie sounded a bit worried, and I understood why; it was not going to be a secret that I wasn't surprised as well.
“I know, but I need to know what he means by helping me…”
Crystal Cove Cafe…
When I got there, I saw him sitting at the table in the back. A book in his hand, as he had this calm presence that could fool anyone who didn’t know this monkey.
“I didnt know that retards could read,” I wasted no time letting my presence be known.
“Not surprising since I didnt see you in class,” he had a smirk on his face when he saw me sit right across from him.
“Nice to see you, Ice Queen, but I never thought you would show up.” He still maintained the apish behaviour that made him my number one enemy.
“What do you want?” I asked, I wasn't about to waste another minute here when I didnt know what the fate of my firm was.
He looked at me, looking down to his side, he pulled out a piece of paper and slid it across the table with a smile on his face.
“I would love it if you would try to understand my motion here.” He smiled as he watched me pick up the paper.
I didnt waste time reading everything, and I knew everything I saw in the first paragraph was a piece of shit!
“You must have hit your head somewhere to think I would agree to this!” I threw the paper at him. I was about to stand up.
“Amara, you were just cut off from your firm, and if that man is anything like I think he is, then it means you have been cut access from everything, meaning your feeble eleven percent has been put on hold.”
I froze, hating him was there, but if anything, he was one of the toughest men in the city, or maybe the country. He was always on point with things.
I turned to look at him, and I could see the smile on his face.
“You are asking me to marry you, I’d rather be thrown down a well of acid than even think of tying the knot with you.”
“A contractual marriage, one where we would both gain something from it— you would use me as a tool to get your company back from that shit loving man, and I would use you to solve my problems.”
His nasty smirk was still on, and I was more confused than ever.
“Why should I agree to this? You are a cunning son of a bitch.”
He nodded, looking at me with the smile still on his face. “Yes, I agree to all of this, but now what do you have to lose? You only have so many things to win; being married to me for some time would be part of those things.”
I couldn't hide the disgust on my face. He was right, but this was a bad idea. There was no way this would work. But then, what did I have to lose?
It was going to be hell if I didnt look for a way to take my firm back from Hunter and Kira. As much as I hated Roman, I wanted my company back.
“Fine, but there should be rules,” I said, sitting back down.
“There is one, dont fall in love with me, Ice Queen.” He said with an ecstatic voice.
“I’d be caught dead before that happens!”
“We’ll see.” He muttered with a smirk on his face.

Amara’s POV“Refill!” I called out for the bartender, letting him refill my glass with more cocktails. Trying to drown my thoughts with everything I could think of at the moment, knowing that there was nothing left for me to run to. I lost it all. My company, the man I thought loved me, and now my reputation is on the line. It was all going down the drain, and there was nothing I could do about it. “Ma’am, not that it’s any of my business, but this is your seventh fill, and you don’t look like you can even walk properly.” I could hear the bartender’s voice, looking up and seeing that everything was blurr,y I couldn’t even see his face. “Great!” I couldn’t even keep my head up, shaking on the table top. “Now i can’t even take more drinks—what else are they going to take from me? My freedom? I know they think this is funny, but they aren’t going to fold me! I’ll get them back for everything!” I pushed myself up from the table, managing to get up. Even though I had the balance o
Amara's POV‘Billionaire Empress Dragged Out Of Party!’ ‘Amara Forger is now facing lawsuits for being out of control.’ I couldn't even bring myself to read everything posted online; it was only going to add more salt to my wounds. After everything I had done for Hunter, this is the way he repays me? With a knife to my back! And Kira, my sister, stood there with him. Even if Hunter stabbed me, she twisted the blade in my guts. I got back to our family villa, the only place I could run back to. Parking my car, I slowly got down and walked into the building, trying to hold my head together. I opened the doors to see my parents standing there watching the news, and of course, I was the one on the headline. They turned to look at me, and immediately, I saw my mother get up from her seat and start walking towards me. The look on her face was a bit confusing, but given that she had seen everything that happened online, she was going to be trying to comfort me.“Mom….” Opening my hand
Amara’s POV. “What are you talking about?” I was looking at the reporters; their gleaming eyes held no secrets, and it was clear as day that the scope they wanted was based on something they heard. “Miss Forger, we would love to know if you are okay after finding out that the man you helped get up to the ranks is now engaged to your sister.” I was not sure what I heard, but for a split second, I forgot how to breathe. It wasn’t true, it couldn't be. I stormed past the reporters, trying to find some air and look for a way to verify if what they were saying was true. Suddenly, my phone began ringing. I didn't know who would be calling me repeatedly, but I knew it was something important if they could reach me. I took out my phone and saw the ID, Trixie.I picked up, she wasn't the type of blast my phone's on nights like this. Not on the knight, I was holding the party for a merger that would take my Empire to the high grounds. “Hello, Trixie, I can't talk—”“Amara, head to Wixton
