Ruby’s pretty face was twisted in a frown. She had dropped Esme at home and was in a bad mood after Taylor had caused a scene at the store.

She had only gotten home a few minutes ago, Nate and Maria were out, it was her chance to rest by herself.

She didn't have the time to kick off her heels before the doorbell rang the second time. She let out an exasperated sigh. Whoever was at the door had better had something important to say, she thought.

She quickly pulled her hair in a bun and went downstairs. She just came back from a real estate agency. The meeting with the agent, Mrs Dala was stressful, they had spent about two hours talking about different districts. None of the houses they saw impressed her much, there was always something to complain of.

Due to the change in the location of the restaurant, she had to change the location of her house in California. She didn’t want a place that was too far from work as she was going to be spending most days there.
