16. Daring Little Thing

Cassandra had been awake for a while now. Her arm was cramped at not being able to move. It had been acting as Selena’s pillow and the daring woman was sleeping soundly on it, oblivious to her aches. She eyed the digital clock. She could still afford some time. Carefully and quietly, she slipped her arm away from Selena and the latter shifted slightly.

She rubbed her muscles to relieve the ache, allowing her blood to circulate normally. She propped herself on an elbow, gazing at the woman beside her. Right now, she was at a lost and she had a lot of questions on her mind.

She absently reached out towards her face, pushing the blonde messy strands to the side. She traced her jaw with a finger, touched her lips briefly, before she hooked it along the shirt she gave her last night. Selena gasped, holding her hand, stopping her as she awoke suddenly.
